In/Above Ground Pool Pump Self Primming High Flow,Grey

I ordered this Pool Pump because my old one was going to cost too much to put back in service. I received the pump and went to work installing it. I got it all hooked up and started putting water into the pre filter or pot, and started losing water coming out at the water inlet. I contacted vitapool and they confirmed it was leaking through a crack at the inlet. They recommended I send it back to Amazon as I'd get a replacement faster that way. I could have let them send me a new one and keep the bad one which would give me an extra motor which is usually the first thing to go out. I opted to send it back to Amazon. I did the return stuff yesterday and UPS picked up the bad one this afternoon. About an hour later the new one arrived from Amazon. I was able to install it in just a few minutes as I already had all the new piping done, just screwing the pump to the pipes and hook up the electricity. It started right up and primed itself in less than 30 seconds. The reason for the 5 stars is their Customer Service. They worked with me to get the best results. The only thing I didn't like was they only work through email, no phone work. But, I am very happy with the new pump which is real quite. This is also a good value as it was going to be over $400.00 to get my old pump working which was still going to be an old one with some new parts. With this I have an all new Pool Pump for just over $250 after taxes. That's about a $200 savings less about $50 for materials to hook the new one up. The only reason it's that much is due to a valve I had to replace to choose which pipe I'm pulling from, the cleaner line or the Skimmer line. I'd recommend this pump to anyone. I have an in ground pool that's about 18,000 gallons of water and it claims to work on above ground pools too which I'm sure it would.

This pump is great fit for the price. Has great suction, super quiet, and I mean compared to other pumps this one has to be the most quiet. It was compatible with my in ground pool. Power and speed are great. Easy to connect. Have been using for a few weeks and I love it.

Hi, I'm a license Plumber PipeFitter in Washington . This is a 30 year old pool. I put a new pump in last year and it failed In September. I emailed you about and never heard back. This is opening month for the pool. I took the pump apart to inspect it and couldn't find anything wrong but when I picked up the pump the base was broken off. Bolts not tight to motor. Pictures are what I found. Its not repairable. Still not sur why it wasn't pumping. I get $250 an hour. I don't have time to fix this pump. D.L.Schandel Inc. Gen. I’m glad they redesigned the wrench to remove the cover to the basket. Much better. The pump is running nice. Quieter than the last pump. The timer buttons on the top are a bit of a pain in the but. Besides blocking a better fit for the pump protector cover, I have to reach under it to turn the pump on. I’ll try and see if it can be bypassed. It sounds like a nice idea but……..

Installation was easy, runs quiet, so far so good [1 month of use] However, if you go to their website, there is no website. Just "coming soon" with a place to enter your email if you want to be notified. QR code to register for additional warranty does the same thing.

When my old pump started acting up I ordered a cheap replacement and it had the wrong fittings and was not going to work. Then I ordered this pump and it was a perfect fit with easy instructions. I should have just ordered this one first.

very good unit I’m very happy The unit is also very quite, awesome power ,installation was a breeze. It was great that in the package they have all the pipes fittings to make the installation easier
