A good quality bag. I don't understand one thing, why doesn't it close? Okay, is it expensive or troublesome to sew in a lock, but can I put a button there? The bag should close. And that will help keep its shape. Otherwise, when I put the bag down, it falls apart shapelessly and everything inside spills out. I kept it for myself because I liked it. And the shoemaker next door promised to put a couple of buttons on it to give the bag a finished look.

What I was looking for!
Just what I was looking for. Wide enough for my laptop to fit. My only concern is the handle; feels flimsy and could break over time.... we'll see I guess.

One important thing to know is that it does not close. There is no zipper or snap to close it.
This Kate Spade bag is absolutely beautiful! It’s even nicer than I thought it would be.
