I drink a lot of tea these days and when the weather is hot, consume iced tea constantly throughout the day. Being very sensitive to caffeine, I find that my yummy black and green teas raise my blood pressure and keep me awake often for much longer than I'd like. Herbal teas are fantastic and I enjoy them immensely, but for a low cost decaf common orange pekoe/black tea option, I brew the Lipton Decaffeinated Black Tea, using usually 3 bags in a pot of boiled water. Since I have a seemingly perpetual supply of mint, I add a spring to the glass with a Splenda and I'm set. For a simple chai, I add an assortment of cardamom, pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger, depending upon my mood and I top it off with skim milk. The 48 count boxes are attractive to me because they don't take up much space after the box is opened and I don't need to put the bags in anything other than the lightweight original box. I also enjoy sharing with neighbors and find the box to be a perfect size as opposed to larger boxes which I might not be so inclined to share. When Amazon offers these on sale, you can't beat the cost for reliable and simple tea in bags. It may not be the finest tea in the world, but it is well worth the cost for an adequate tea.

This product is not readily available in stores in Portugal. I prefer decaf tea and Lipton is very good. Expensive through Amazon but worth it.

It’s the real thing, just costs less. I check for sales elsewhere. Amazon’s price is lowest.

I love Lipton Decaffeinated Tea and have been drinking it for years at the rate of 1 or 2 cups per day. It is full-flavored and never bitter. In the stores I notice that price for 'decaffeinated' Lipton is creeping up; as do so many of the healthier choices of food such as fat-free, gluten-free, caffeine-free, sugar-free, etc. I bought about a year's supply from Amazon so as not to have to experience so much frustration over the next year as I notice the price continuing to climb. I am now assured of having my favorite breakfast beverage on hand, frustration-free, until next November, at least. This is a great way to buy our favorite things in bulk with free shipping and to ease our monthly grocery budget. But, be cautious and check prices, because I note some products Amazon sells in bulk have already risen and now are higher than today's single prices in stores.
