This Ottoman bench is cute, well made, not heavy, has nice storage, and great proportions. The rounded edges help you avoid bumping into it (I got it because I broke my toe on an old squared behemoth we were using). The primary reason for having a piece of furniture at the foot of a queen bed is to help a senior cat get up and down safely. Kitty likes the feel of the nubby fabric, not slippery or unsteady in the slightest. Bonus points for storage and a place to sit when needed. It's awesome!
