XTOOL D9S arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The big display is bright, clear and great for my old eyes. The operating system is pretty intuitive and easy to learn. The device is sturdy and has a quality armored feel to it. The metal retractable stand is very convenient. I really like the fact that I can walk around the vehicle while I'm using the unit. I've already been scanning my newer vehicles and looking at special functions. Running updates was very easy. The unit recharges from any USB mini adapter. I did order and install screen protectors to avoid messing up the display. Also easy to install. The D9S does have a camera and speaker on the back of the device, which wasn't clear in the description, but I'm glad they are available. The Wifi connected seamlessly. Overall, I feel the D9S is a great value for the money, especially since Amazon offered it at a discount.

Been using the ds9 for a couple of months love the topology mapping makes it easy to find what module code are coming from and point you in the right direction have use the special functions to program remotes and reset tpms senors works great have also use live data to diagnose wheel speed issues great to be able to customize charts and only monitor what I need to in live time

I had the D8W and upgraded to the 9S and it is totally different unit and I love it. It does so much more and is so much faster. What a delight it is to work with. Very user friendly . I attached it to two cars and the results were fast and accurate . I would highly recommend this tool .

I'm updating after 6 months of use in professional setting. I changed from 3 stars to 1. The translation is terrible, it doesn't recognize most dodge/Chrysler products. Special features are a joke. Customer service will hound you to do the job they should have done before bringing scanner to market. I can't email customer service over features not working and wait weeks for a solution. I need something that works. Save your money. I recommend an Autel 10 times over the xtool. I also have a 906BT. It takes getting used to as far as navigation, but it works! The list of special features is impressive, too bad none of them work. Except for maybe 2 vehicles. After not working for several vehicles, ( domestic,) I contacted xtool. Apparently, a VGT actuator calibrate for a 2008-2018 Dodge is still under development. It's listed, but doesn't work. My snap on scanner even has this working function. Save your money, you can buy a more capable scanner for less money.

So far it has been a good tool. I am a small shop and for what I paid for this is what an update for my Snap On. So far it is worth it for the new things I can do.
