Not certain if It is stainless steel. it is powder coated. It is black. In my home these have worked very well.

I installed a new garage side door in the "Barn door style" which had stainless fittings for the outside use. The new guide replaced an old rusty version which did little to guide the old door now replaced. The guide arrived very quickly and was easy to fit and is well made and should last for a while. Good product and happy.
