This is a fun weapon to shoot. Very accurate. **Q: does mag last long** A: It should. It is metal and slides easily in the gun and locks up tight. IF it DOES NOT, DO NOT force it! I had a bb come lose when inserting it, and it would not go in. I was inserting the mag with the gun upside down. When I turned it upright and removed the mag to determine the problem, a bb fell out, and then it slid in easily. Fortunately I knew not to force it and so no damage to the gun or magazine. The only potential problem area I am told that the catch is plastic. Should not be a problem as it slides in easily and locks tight with just a nudge. No need to slam the magazine in. This gun seems to be made of quality materials and works well with the right bbs!! **Q: Is the free shipping on this item via usps?** A: i dont care or remember, i received the pistol and it works just like the real luger. i set up a target range in my 12 by 12' bedroom , i used eye goggles ,some times the group hits right on top of a privious hit. shot group has 10 hits in a 3 inch circle ,im not using a bench rest. im 73 years old i use a 100 lbs crossbow the same way. i use a 15 by 15 by 3'' cardboard box filled with plastic bags. **Q: is it loud?** A: For a C02 pistol it is fairly loud. I decided to paint the grips and end of the mag to look like wood and it looks great! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have both versions of the Umarex P8 *by C***E on January 9, 2025* This will be short since there is a lot already written about them. Both are beautiful guns in appearance. To my eye they are virtually identical. Also true in weight, balance etc. The blow back feature is a nice aspect but it doesn't disqualify the non-blowback version for me. I cleaned and lubed the blowback version and it has worked flawlessly so far. I did the same for the non-blowback version and it has performed flawlessly as well. As mentioned by others, neither gun is particularly accurate and the sights are not the easiest to line up. I applied a bit of white to the front sight to make it easier. I can keep 5 shots from both pistol roughly within a 3" splatter target at 18ft. with an outlier here and there. The power is the large difference. In my fairly cool temperature basement the blowback version averaged around 245 fps and could basically only dent soda cans. The non-blowback version averaged around 390 fps and was a bit more fun to shoot for me.
