Do I need to install a driver or software to use the pen on devices with EMR technology？

No. So long as the WACOM EMR technology is built into a device's display, you're ready to use it.

Does the digital pen have or need abattery?

No. Thanks to EMR technology, the EMR digital stylus works inductively with the energy from the end device and doesn't require tiresome charging.

Can the stylus also be used on Apple devices and Pixelbooks?

No. These devices use a different display technology, not the EMR technology. Therefore, they are not compatible with our EMR digital stylus.

Does the stylus have a side button like the S pen?

Yes, it also has a side button, but its functions are determined by the software settings. It could serve as an eraser, selection tool, or other functions, depending on the specific software being used.

ls this pen suitable for attachment to all compatible devices?

No. The magnetic feature only works with devices that have magnetic attachment capabilities.
