Are you able to calibrate this scale using calibration weights?

Don’t bother. It will give a different reading each time. Even if it had this feature, which it doesn’t! It would be impossible to calibrate!

How big is the scales. Like is it suitable for weighing say a piece of steak or would it be too small?

You would have to put a tray onto the weighing pad, which is 10cm x 10cm. I love their compact design, amazing accuracy and the ability to weigh quite heavy weights. And a great price. You won't regret it.

Would this scale be suitable & convenient for making cosmetics(body butters, hair creams and oils). Is it also accurate enough? Two decimal places?

This is a very small set of scales, accurate to 1 decimal place, can be changed easily between units, but depending on your container size, the weighing plate may be too small. The picture makes it look much bigger than it is. It’s dimensions are:11cm x 13cm
