Great for watercolor
These are very pigmented and brush tip is easy to use. These are more expensive than a lot of brands but they are worth the extra because they don’t peel the paper very easy and colors are just beautiful

Beware of random dried marker. Quality control issue?

Lush colors
I love using these. The colors are very bold and vibrant. It was my first set of ecoline brush pens so I bought a larger set so I could have more colors. Really love these.

Lovely colors
My first impressions (I've only used these on 100% cotton watercolor paper) is just ok. The colors are beautiful, but they behave more like markers than watercolor. The nib is rather stiff, more like a marker. The barrel is a comfortable size, easy to hold and work with. I have seen people on the 'Tube refilling them and altering the colors with other shades of Ecoline inks, so that could be a plus. They stain the paper which you can still see when water is applied to the ink. They didn't seem to blend with water well. They blended with each other nicely. I did not use the blender pen because it isn't included in the set I bought. So, if you want markers, these are nice. If you want a water soluble brush pen, look elsewhere.
