Frigidaire EFIC117-SS 26 Pound Ice Maker, 26 lbs per Day, Stainless

So far, this little ice maker is working great! I got tired of paying $4.07 for a 7# bag of ice at the convenience store. So I just fill this with filtered water, set it and go. Makes ice pretty fast. You just have to take out the basket and freeze the ice pretty fast in the freezer, because this machine is not a freezer. The ice will melt down if you don't take it out. I like this machine, easy to use and clean, and it's fine for 2 people drinking a lot of ice tea in the summer. Glad I bought it !

Funciona muy bien, trabaja prácticamente día y noche y súper confiable. Me sorprendió gratamente. Detalles a considerar, solo fabrica los hielos, no los mantiene congelados. Antes de una reunión debes prender la máquina al menos una hora antes para que tenga su compartimiento lleno, la máquina se encarga de fabricar más hielo y llenarlo nuevamente. Produce una carga de 6 hielos pequeños cada 6-8 minutos, con dos cargas llenas un vaso mediano, recomiendo tengas almacenado en tu congelador para que no te haga falta, es muy buena máquina pero es pequeña.

The stuff that people complain about and give poor reviews on is pure comedy! It's a countertop ice maker, don't expect artisanal ice to come out of it! There isn't anything I can complain about this ice maker. Yep, it's a little loud but I would be shocked if it was whisper quiet, the ice it makes isn't as big as you would get out of a refrigerator and yes it's going to melt unless you put the cubes in a freezer, we make a batch of cubes and put them in a containter to be used later! I recommend this ice maker!

This little ice maker is fantastic. It’s compact so it doesn’t take up a ton of space on the counter. It couldn’t be easier to use. Plug it in, fill with water and around 8 minutes later you have ice. It makes 9 dome shaped cubes per batch. It has two size options, but the large isn’t that big. Comes with a scoop to remove from the catch basket for ease of use. I’ve found that the ice will melt quickly, but I’ve put batches in some ziplock freezer bags and let them freeze fully. It helps keep the ice from melting so quickly (and you can build up a supply if you need it). Much better quality ice than bagged ice and much easier to use. I haven’t had it very long, but so far it’s been a great purchase.

Me gustó, tarda aproximadamente de 7 a 8 minutos para hacer cada ronda de hielo, entre más tiempo está prendida funciona mejor y saca mejor hielo, muy buena para uso doméstico o comercio con bajo flujo de clientes y buen precio.
