A great buy!
This is great! I wish this was around when I was a kid! It's easy to put together, my 4 yr old can help but sometimes doesn't push it in all the way. The balls have arrows that show where to insert for maximum sturdiness. Holds several lighter weight blankets or towels. I wish I bought 2 sets because 1 set as pictured, only got us this 3x3 box, but the box fits a couple toddlers or a toddler and a bunch of stuffies. So if you can, buy 2 sets it'll make your creations cooler, but it's an awesome activity to do with kiddos on a rainy day. BTW this set did not come with a bag to hold everything, but to me that's not a big deal. I've got plenty of reusable bags I can use or just put back in the box....

Sturdy, durable, easy set up & fun
I bought this for my 6yo so she can build an igloo. You need two sets of Crazy Forts to build it and she already had one as a gift so the price of this on Amazon was worth it. Building with this was easy. They have arrows to help show where to insert the stick. The instructions are fairly easy to follow and the letters on the balls help to create whatever structure you want to build. Whether it's your own or you're following one from their instruction sheet that's included. This product will definitely be a long time keeper!

Fun Father Daughter Activity
We bought this for my soon to be 5 year old daughter for Christmas along with the purple Crazy Fort. Pink and Purple are her favorite colors. Christmas day we used one of them to build a house like the instructions had illustrated. It was not very hard to do but you really do need to pay attention to how the sticks are inserted so that building is easy. The instructions state that the arrows should always point up and that is very important since it makes everything line up correctly. One thing that the instructions do not state is that the sticks that are inserted in the horizontal hole should also line up with one of the arrows, this ensures that the angle holes are properly in place. You can always spin the ball but I would rather do it right the first time. The sticks can be a little hard to get in some of the holes and that is where twisting as you insert the stick helps. The structures built are not strong enough for her to climb on but she is pretty careful with her things so she does not tear them up. The strength is good enough to put a sheet or light blanket over the top for a fort/tent experience since kids her age love to move inside and outside whatever we build. My daughter is not able to build much by herself but she has had a lot of fun making an umbrella, a propeller and many different small things that exercise her imagination. When she wants a larger structure built, she asks for my help and then she helps put pieces together and learns at the same time. One of the most fun things for me is that you can build the same thing several times and one time it is a fort, another time it is a house, another time it is a castle. Imagination is the best toy a child can have and this helps exercise her imagination.

Awesome product!!
I almost never write reviews for products, but this one was such an awesome purchase that I needed to come back and spread the joy! It's a win-win solution for everyone! My kids kept bugging me to build a fort with them, but I hate the mess (that _I_ have to clean!) of sofa cushions etc. spread all around and the fort always collapses and instead of fun everyone's just frustrated. So I ordered these. And behold, I actually LIKE building forts with my kids! It's great for developing their spatial understanding and most importantly: it's easy for them to pull apart and put it away themselves (!!) (and it goes into relatively small space). They can build whatever they imagine, it doesn't collapse and my sofa cushions stay put! Some reviews complain that it's not sturdy enough to hold blankets, but I'm happy to disagree (please see the photo). Some reviews complain there aren't enough pieces to build anything in the manual / examples - not true. There were exactly enough pieces to build everything in the example pictures - although we were all having so much fun that we did order another set for even bigger and mightier towers! It works just as hoped and imagined (and even better) and it has made our lives easier and more fun. Five stars!

Perfect for kids that love to build with wild imaginations!!
Fast shipping my child loves building things. Got the Discovery Kids set first but like all other brands, one set just isnt enough so i got a second set..I like this set better...the balls have arrows on them to tell u which holes to use so u can mke a perfect square while the DK one didnt and it was lots of frustrating trial and error.***PLEASE NOTE*** for those using two different brands like i did, the stick lenths were different, crazy forts were longer (which in turn gives more inside room) than the DK..you can incorporate them both to make them both work together, you just need to use your brains a bit more!

Super fun to play with. Agree with other reviews, that the connections are not super strong, ie, you can't build a brigde with it, but you can definitely build big forts no problem. The product does what it says it does. I bought two sets, and then another set afterwards for even more chaos! By the way, my six year old plays and builds forts on her own.

The pieces are different and fiddley especially for the kids, not as robust as I had imagined. Very time consuming to make progress with

Best fort building kit of it's kind that I have used yet. It would be nice if it were a bit stronger. Only sheets can be used as blankets make the structure bow a bit. But it works well and is easy for little people to assemble. It teaches kids some basic structural engineering, which is great :) I liked that it came with suggestions for different structures and directions for how to make them. I bought two sets to make bigger forts. This toy gets used a lot. Love that it is available in pink. My daughter was ecstatic.
