This was the first time I purchased a preservative. I previously made a green tea toner without a preservative, which after a week and a half the liquid became cloudy with bacteria. I used this in a chamomile toner I made and guess what? A week and a half later there was a cloudy bacteria floating around in my toner. Also, I noticed a burning sensation on my skin after applying the toner which hadn't been there in the previous week. Sadly, this product did not work. Great fast shipping, based on research it looks like leucidal is a really good preservative but I'm not sure how good this one is. Only time (about a year) will tell. It does go by quickly.
