Envy of the other machinists and tool makers. Allows positioning stop under the cutter. Great for long pieces requiring complex set ups. (caution bolt provided is slightly long and needs a touch of grinding to work correctly - no problem for a machinist)

Robust arm that came with all requisite hardware for fixturing. Just make sure torque the 3/8 cap bolts tightly as it moved on me - I didn’t give it that little extra “umpf” today and it moved.

Some have written about the hold down bolt being metric which it is. A 2.375" half inch socket head cap screw takes care of this. One can then use standard 1/2" x 13 T nuts to replace the crappy metric piece that come with the stop. The stop is well made otherwise for being made in China.

There were three issues: 1. The socket head cap screw was 1/4 inch too long to clear the bottom of 10 x 50 milling machine T-slot and had to be trimmed out of the box. This is a good way to crack out a milling table. 2. Product specs call for 1/2 inch and came with 12 mm bolt so it does not match all other hold-down hardware. 3. Came with 6 mm spacer rod, not the offset or bent one which keeps the device away from and well below the cutter; also this rod was cut on a chop saw and not deburred or rounded. This item is too good to return, but not good enough for a hearty approval.
