It has this plastic/ rubber form fitting sleeve like part attached to the inside which protects my iPad. It cannot slide out or come loose. I have had this kind before and it lasted years. I’m a substitute teacher so I throw my iPad in my tote bag daily and this case offers the best protection. I clean this case with rubbing alcohol on a cotton square. Shockingly, the case resists fading and doesn’t breakdown with almost daily cleaning. In a couple years I plan on buying the same kind of case.P.S. if you don’t wipe off the outside of your iPad case you should. I wipe off the outside and all around the case - every side. Rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad or cotton ball is cheap and removes dirt and even greasy film.
