Calisto 7200, Premium Speakerphone, Black

I am very happy with this. I have needed a speakerphone for a long time but did not want to give up audio (Microphone) quality that my gaming headset offered. This device works great! While the audio quality can't compete with a headset it is acceptable for long conference calls and definitely sounds better than most competing products from my research. The touch buttons on the device are responsive and clearly indicate when you are on mute, etc. The teams integration has been great as well. While this is definitely pricey I am pretty happy with my purchase.

Like many, the pandemic has caused me to spend a lot of time in meetings using tools like Zoom, Teams, etc. I got tired of using a headset with a cord and large headsets, in general. I wanted something that gave me more freedom, but still offered good sound quality for both the speaker and microphone. I tried a Jabra speakerphone first, but was told that I sounded like I was using one. I was hesitant to spend the extra money on the Calisto 7200, but was able to get one on sale. I am so happy I did. It just works, speaker sounds great, and others say I sound much better. I have only used it connected to my PC, but know it offers additional connectivity options. I hope the try the bluetooth option in the future. I use this almost everyday. It is a great product!

It's the most expensive of all options, but it works very well. The audio is clear to hear other people, the microphone is clear for others to understand my speech. Noise cancelling appears to be working very well, nothing obvious that it is NOT working. Most importantly, it works through my docking station across different laptops seamlessly, which other speaker devices have not in the past. I'm not using bluetooth, I have it hard wired.

I tried various different methods to create a home office where I don't need to wear headphones. This unit is perfect for home office conference calls on your computer. Works with Zoom, Teams, etc. I have a separate camera from OSBOT that I use when I need to be in a video call. The OSBOT mic wasn't great so replaced it with this. This is a simple plug and play - no install or driver setup process. Will also act as a speaker so I can hear Windows OS sounds or youtube videos...etc. I recommend highly.

It's about 4 inches square, which makes it about the most compact speaker available. It's sturdy and a bit heavier than I expected, but not overly so. It fits in my laptop bag very well and I travel a lot. Works for small to medium conference rooms well. Haven't tried it in a large room, but it would probably get the job done in most conference rooms you'll encounter (a conference room, not a room at a conference). The DSP works well, but better on USB than bluetooth. Only positive reviews from the other end on usb, sometimes get comments on bluetooth when the battery gets low or there's lots of interference in the environment. Sound is great for what it is. Audio snobs will find a reason to not like it but it sounds great. I use it a lot in the hotel room so I can talk to my wife as I walk around getting ready for work or for bed. Music is good, audiobooks are good. They say it's water resistant but I haven't tried that.

I ordered this product March 25th 2021. Initially it was fantastic. The speaker was loud and clear and the mics worked very well. In fact, because the mic quality was so much better than my Macbook Pro M1 mics, people were asking me what mic I was using. I actually recommended this product to others. Then I started having issues with the microphones. I was told that we couldn't be heard and that we were dropping in and out. At first I thought that perhaps it was an issue with the unit not being properly charged. So I charged and used again but the problem was intermittent. I then tried different cables. Some meetings it worked some it wouldn't. Then I tried two other laptops and eventually determined that the problem was the unit itself. I contacted the seller June 23 and after some back and forth correspondence was told that the manufactured would not take the item back because it was outside the return window. I think this position is outrageous and it is clear that the manufacturer would rather hide behind their return policy than stand behind their product. I see that others have reported this issue as well but it was a small few so I wanted to give this the benefit of the doubt. Clearly I am paying for that. I am going to pursue directly with the manufacturer and will update this review accordingly. Bottom line, if you have the money to roll the dice you might end up with a nice product. Or you may eventually get stuck with a $200 paper weight.

Fantastic unit. I plugged it in my very old MacBook pro and it was ready to go. Amazing noise background suppression - I took the video when a bus was running by my home, I had the window open, and you can't hear anything. Best investment for my virtual zoom and Skype calls. Super satisfied. I also plugged in a a multi USB adapter for my Mac and not issues at all. It worked immediately. Minimalistic and functional - exactly like I love things.

This is a serious microphone / speaker combo for any conference situation. Having the Mic/Speaker in the same package, lets them cancel the sound, and it does it very well. I have a background as an A/V production tech, but have transitioned to IT. I don't have a remote position, but I'd pick another up for that rather than continuing to use my old shotgun mic like I have in the past. My DnD group currently throws it on the table so people can remote into DnD via discord on a small N100 mini-PC w/webcam, that is hanging off the back of a monitor mounted to a floor stand. This "Mini-VTC" suite was cheap, and this mic/speaker combo works really well. I can't recommend it enough.

仕事の Teams Meetingで使うために購入 Jabra 410 と 510を所持しているが、スピーカーの音質についてはこちらのほうが上に聞こえる またノイズキャンセリングが非常に強力で、音楽を流しながら会話してもどうやら向こうには音楽が聞こえていない模様 ただ、余りにも強力すぎて拍手した時すらも向こうに聞こえていないようで また、オンラインゲームをしながらのチャットとして Discordなどにも使用しているが、前述のようにゲーム音楽なども流れていないこともさることながら、キャラクターの音声も向こうには流れていないとの事 正直ここまで強力なのはなかなかないのではと

Ottima resa del suono, ottima presa delle voci, facilità d’uso, stabilità di connessione anche multipla, buona durata della batteria. Comprato per videoconferenze, da usare in una sala da 30mq e in un salone da 200 ma, ma con le persone concentrate in circa 40mq ha eliminato echi e riverberi, sia in ingresso che in uscita. Finalmente siamo riusciti a sentirci come si deve! Usato con gruppi variabili dalle 4 alle 20 persone, nessun problema di presa delle voci. Ovviamente la qualità della voce del vostro interlocutore è dovuta anche al microfono che lui usa da casa sua. Usato con qualsiasi tipo di computer (Mac e pc) e programma, e anche con cellulari e tablet. Si può collegare a più fonti contemporaneamente... quindi attenzione! Se non lo avete scollegato, potreste ritrovare amplificata la telefonata in arrivo mentre siete in videoconferenza...

I've purchased "Plantronics Calisto P7200 Wireless Speaker" on 20th November 2021. Seller "Geek Store" sold me an old inventory of "Plantronics Calisto P7200 Wireless Speaker". When I tried to register on "Plantronics" portal, the warranty would expire in Jan-2022, which is totally disappointing. When I contacted Poly customer support, they said it's not their problem. Coming to the product, sound quality is good with MS Team, however, Bluetooth connectivity through mobile is sketchy.

I have been working from home since early 2020, and got tired of meeting audio through laptop speakers. I spent months researching whether to risk buying a cheap, Jabra or Anker conference speakerphone. I read online reviews and watched YouTube reviews, and focused on commentary from people who worked in IT or with audiovisual. Time and time again, the Plantronics Calisto P7200 was rated either the best or really highly. If you are reading this and are in the same boat, save yourself some time and just buy the P7200 which works flawlessly and never fails. The speaker quality is very good and makes watching YouTube videos so much better. I had a Yeti nano mic before the P7200 and when the P7200 arrived, I met with my colleague to test both mics. My colleague said the P7200 sounded clearer and more crisp. That's pretty good. Also to add, that the Yeti took up so much room whilst the P7200 is so small that you hardly notice it. In short, I absolutely love my Plantronics Calisto P7200 because it is smaller, powerful, reliable and crisp.
