Battery Only Compatible with Bose Soundlink Mini 1 Speaker Model 061384 061385 061386 【Not Fit Mini2/Gen2】

I've had the amazing Bose Mini speaker for a number of years now, but in recent months the battery life was declining more and more. I thought I'd need to send the unit back to Bose for repair -- or, more likely, see if Bose gave me a price break on a refurbished unit. Imagine my surprise when I googled "How to replace Bose Mini battery" and found a YouTube video showing a middle-aged guy changing out the battery himself as easy as pie. God Bless Bose! The rubber flap on the speaker's bottom peels off easily from one end, and voila, there's the battery right there, held in place by four screws! Now mind you, those four screws are some of the proprietary -- or at least uncommon -- kind manufacturers employ to thwart unauthorized product tinkering. But darned if the battery the guy said he bought from Amazon didn't even include the special screwdriver needed for those weirdo screws. As advertised, swapping out the old for the new battery was a piece of cake, taking less than five minutes. The only difficulty I encountered was getting one or two of the venerable screws to start turning from their years in locked position, but gripping the little screwdriver handle with pliers and turning did the trick. The new battery clicked right into place. I charged it up fully for a few hours, and wow, is the battery working like a champ! The old battery needed a charge after just five days of 15-30-minute use a day, but the new one still hasn't triggered the "low charge" light after some twelve days as I write this. All I can say is, I wish I could revive other items of my favorite gear as easily and effectively! Two thumbs up!!!

Easy to install and works perfectly.

I ordered this battery same day delivery and installed it on 11/14/2025. I used the Mini I would say average once every week or two when doing projects. I had a two day project on 3/3/2026 and 3/4/2026. It was fine for hours on the first day, I returned it to the base, and on the second day the battery was completely gone. Sadly, I ordered a second one in February for a family member, so I figure that is half way through its life at this point. I see that between February and today they became unavailable. I guess that someone got the memo.

My orignal Bose battery, although it still worked, it was very obvious, it was on borrowed time. That being said, I started researching various replacement batteries which would work wel with my BT speaker. I came across this battery and after having thoroughly read through the reviews, I decided to purchase this one. It came on the date promised (Thanks Amazon!) and I happened to have the appropriate tool needed to unscrew the existing battery and I proceeded to swap out the batteries. There were no issues whatsoever in doing so. Thus far, after having charged it up and drained the battery (not all the way), I'm very happy with this battery choice! PROS: Quality made, easy to install, durable CONS: None noted

Bose is one of few companies making products that outlive lithium ion batteries. My Soundlink Mini 1 wouldn't hold a lasting charge and would unexpectedly drop Bluetooth connection. After replacing the battery the speaker plays much longer. I actually haven't been able to run it all the way down even at louder volume. The original (bad) battery wouldn't last 40 minutes at low volume, and now several hours at higher volume is no problem! I see the seller has to mention about a dozen times in the description that this is for Soundlink Mini 1 061384. Come on people -do your research! I installed this easily in about 10 minutes. It drops right in (no cable) flush like the OEM and the rubber cover fits on perfectly. I'm giving 4 stars because the price is a little high even for a lithium ion.

You likely already know that the Bose SoundLink Mini is a very good-sounding personal speaker built to last many years! Sadly, rechargeable batteries eventually wear out. This replacement battery will restore your Bose SoundLink Mini’s ability to perform like new. Strong and steady hands are needed to remove and replace the four screws that secure the battery in place. Once the new battery is in place and the screws are completely and securely screwed in using the supplied tool, the silicone battery compartment cover will snap back into place easily. Update: I bought two of these replacement batteries, which are rated at 2900 mAh. The original batterie were rated at 2330 mAh meaning that they have higher energy capacity than the originals. Thus far the performance of the replacement batteries is stellar!

My 1st gen Bose Soundlink Mini was as good as dead because the battery was totally dead and the speaker was turning itself off after playing for 10-15 minutes (even when power supple was plugged into). Bose does not provide option to get the battery replaced anymore. I bought this battery after going through reviews on many of the 3rd party batteries, and even then I was a bit sceptical about its fitment and compatibility. But this one fits perfect to the "t". Getting charged within standard time, charge indicator on speaker changing to green after getting fully charged. Speaker continues to play at full volume for over 2hrs, did not get the time to check playback time for a full charge. I don't even care, as it plays more than 2hrs straight, and that's all that I need.

This battery has a designated purpose. It is to replace the battery in a BOSE SoundLink Mini 1st generation. I took a chance buying it after not using my Mini for years but was not willing to throw it away. I was persuaded to make the purchase after a video review whose main purpose stated to "not throw it away". The included instructions were easy to follow plus they provided the driver for the mounting screws. After charging, the Mini is back. Perhaps a new bluetooth speaker would be better but I saved some cash. Plus I always liked the size and sound of the Mini. I am glad I made this purchase.

After trying to rejuvenate the original Bose battery (all the usual stuff including freezing for 24hrs - take care if you do this and follow the instructions on the web...) after the unit fell into the hot tub ... decided to try a replacement battery as the unit powered up after drying and connected via bluetooth to the iphone. It displayed the red flashing battery symbol regardless of the battery being fitted or unfitted. New battery plugged in first time, no issues, looks the part. Well packaged, even comes with the Torx screw driver (nice touch). Bose is now singing its little heart out behind me - excellent. I just need to decide now if I want to return it to my Brother-in-Law! :)

Super easy to exchange batteries but first I had to purchase a special 5 star slotted screwdriver to remove the old one.

Works great. I've had it about 4 or 5 weeks and started by making sure it got a full charge. I has been working faultlessly since.
