Also, note that the maximum height difference between indoor and outdoor units is 15 ft. **Q: What size room will this unit cool/ heat? The room I need to cool is about 250 sqare feet.** A: This unit is officially rated for " 129-189 sq feet ", so the standard answer would be to go up to the 12000 BTU model which is rated for 189-315 sq feet. But these ratings are just guidelines. There are so many factors to consider in properly sizing a unit such as your weather, the number of windows, which way they face, room insulation, heat sources (e.g. is it a kitchen?), so best suggestion is to ask a professional installer to size it. So, I think intertek makes the compressors and slaps on a different sticker depending on who buys it state side, but I don't know. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well worth purchasing *by C***Y on June 3, 2018* very quiet inside and out good cooling seems economical fairly easy to install with knowledge of a/c and electrical, The actual temp reading on the display seems a little off. 70 degrees is colder than my room reading.... need to put it on 76 to feel comfortable yet my room thermometer reads 70. The prime 2 day messed up--one box went to Dallas one got here on time. I live 100 miles from Dallas. Price has dropped since we bought it..This unit has a high SEER which is desirable as far as electrical cost.
