Let me first state that there was a Fedex shipping glitch which was satisfactorily addressed by Airdeko's customer service rep, Veronique. She gave 5-STAR service by sending out another unit. Having just invested a princely sum for a Mitsubishi Mini-Split A/C system, we wanted to protect the equipment from the elements; i.e snow; hail; wildlife, etc. After much research in all manner and types of protective HVAC covers, we chose the Airdeko aluminum cover. Reviews that are out there recommend it. We also liked it for its aesthetic qualities. We've provided two photos with this review. As you can see, at the front top left of the unit, there is a nice buckle/ding which is very visible. The box/packaging did not reflect this flaw. As a matter of fact, it was well packed, which leads me to believe that it was damaged before it was packed! Hence, the 3-STAR rating for QUALITY. We would have sent it back, but repacking this would have been a huge headache, as well as another monetary outlay we do not wish to incur. Unfortunately, it has to be completely unpacked in order to inspect it. There was also a thin protective skin/membrane around each piece to prevent scratching. Once it is removed, there's no way to re-apply it for a return. We still like it, but it is just annoying to look at it after spending over $500.00 on it.
