First, it is too big. There is no good reason for a scuba knife to be this big. The fantasy of fighting off a shark underwater comes from the movies, not real life. My scuba knife is 5 inches long, total. It’s small and unobtrusive. Second, it’s too expensive. Buy a cheaper knife for $40, because you’ll either end up losing it to the deep or a shady dive master or customer will steal a nice knife. Third, the clip point tip is all wrong when dealing with high pressure hoses, air bladders, and human skin. In 20 years of diving, I’ve only used my knife once, for cutting a tangle of fishing line **Q: How thick/wide is the handle?
