RYNO GEAR Trek Coolmax Tactical Side Zip Boots

I like to lace up in the morning and then I can take them off as needed to enter and exit houses quickly due to the zipper. I like that they are so comfortable, and light weight! The toe is rubberized and reinforced. The laces are good quality. There is a water proof material behind the zipper. This is a solid boot! Dang solid for the money! What would I change? Use a non skid material. Oily floors, of any hard materials are a small issue. I doubt I'll ever slip and fall, buy you can feel the slip. (A commercial kitchen floor as an example). Rain/water was no issue, no slipping.

Had these boots since March 2024. Very comfortable. I am a disabled Vet with limited flexibility. The zipper helps tremendously getting them on and off. I enjoy the style. It allows me to wear a boot I very much like the looks of and still provides support for my back. These boots are light and agile as well which aides me with my ambulatory issues. Cannot beat them especially for the priche. Great find for my pusposes. So far the leather and soles have held up well. They have also kept my feet dry in some pretty wet conditions even with the zipper. Nice quality boot. I will buy again!

Surprisingly rugged but comfortable boot. And it came with a free pair of sox. Not the absolute best boot for my work as a housepainter. The sole is a wee bit too stiff for my absolute liking But more than adequate. I think it’d be a great boot for residential landscaping. Good boot hiking as well. Love that it’s lightweight and dries out quickly. Im considering adding a cushioned insole. Fits true to size. If your looking for a “pretty” work boot this ain’t it. But if your looking to get “bleep” done, it is

The boots appear very rugged and look well stitched. Being former military, I really like the look of the boot. It fit as expected, and the socks are a plus. I was a bit disappointed because it seemed like such a simple question...I.E. “are the boots water proof”. No one could answer, or I got one “skirt around the issue” reply. I figured they’re either water proof or they are not. Didn’t get any suitable responses. So, I simply purchased some “waterproofing” spray, and ensured that my answer was “yes”. They seem comfortable, and fit well. The price is excellent. In short; good looking, fit seems true to size, seem rugged, great price.

I previously reviewed these boots & I am including the review below because my opinion hasn’t changed & that’s the reason I’m buying another pair 22 months later. If the new pair wears as well as my originals, I’ll buy a 3rd pair as a future replacement. That’s how much I like these boots. 1st Review: I have used these boots the past 9 months as my primary work boot. I do part-time outdoor work in the woods cutting trees, building structures, hiking, etc.. I have felt surefooted, snug fit with the convenience of a quick unzip & remove. I really like these boots. They retailed for $50!!! They honestly performed much better overall than my $200+ name brand hiking boots. Go figure! I nicked my boot today with the chainsaw & thought to myself, go review this boot! It’s a great value, pure & simple. Bought these shoes over a year ago and they are still going strong. I used them for 3 months working at an amazon warehouse and were so comfortable I began wearing them daily. I used them for just about every hard labor task from moving, landscaping, paintball, vacations, and even used them in my house renovations where we tore up the tile through the entire house. I walked god knows how many miles in these boots and they have been soaked by rain, standing water, covered in mud, paint, scuffed by rocks, wood, metal, rope, you name it. The stitching has held up amazingly well and the zipper has only gotten stuck on a handful of times due to operator error. Overall the durability is surprisingly high and treads are still fairly deep, but would not recommend extreme use in mud. I was slipping all over the place when playing paintball as they do not wick mud very well. Otherwise a great work boot in general.

First of all, I've bought several sets of boots from Ryno Gear, they have always been exceptional si when I want new boots I don't look at competitors. I got my new boots and thy fit very well are incredibly comfortable and I love them. I was disappointed when on my 6th or 7th time wearing them the back had ripped on both boots. I sent a comment to the company and never heard back. I am assuming this was a one off as I've always been happy with my boots, but given the lack of response it may be time to see who else is out there.

I was skeptical but wanted another pair of boots without spending a ton of money. I took a chance on these boots and I am very glad I did, the overall quality is good and the fit and comfort are great on these boots. Side zipper is well constructed and works great, I've done two patrol shifts in these boots and have no complaints. They look great as well. For this price point I'd recommend you consider these unless you just have to have the high-end label on your gear.

son excelentes botas. se siente el pie protegido al igual que cómodo. Detalles mínimos de acabado que podrían mejorar. 9/10 Actualización: a 10 días de uso se ha roto la costura del asa del tobillo. Considero que deben cuidar y reforzar esta parte. Agrego fotos. Lo he reparado yo mismo porque disfruto de su confort, pero sí recomiendo al fabricante mejorar control de calidad sobre todo en puntos críticos como este.

Great product for that price! I walk 12 km a day with these since received, no issue! Would I take them into combat? No way, but walking day in and out, best boots in ages. These boots came from the US with UPSit took three days to Australia, wow. Australia Post couldn't get that done in two weeks...
