These sockets work, and they're a good thickness. Not to thick for my applicable purpose however may be to thick for spark plug tubes, so the size may differ for your needs. There is no magnet to possibly damage the spark plugs, however the retainer used in the socket to help removed the spark plug is plastic. It worked for the first plug, then the rest I have to fish out with a magnet. Seems the plastic stretched to much for it to grab the tip of the spark plugs again. They work, but I would recommend trying to find spark plug sockets with a nice rubber retainer to consistently grab the plus when removing.

I really liked the product; now my husband has no trouble removing and installing the spark plugs, and it's great that they come in various sizes.

Did the job. Only used it to swap out 6 spark plugs and did it well. Would've been very difficult to do without it's magnetic and swivel ability.

You get what you paid for! Pay extra and get magnetic sockets. This sockets had rubber inserts installed inside the sockets, which caps into the spark plug. Terrible idea as nothing is holding the rubber inserts inside the sockets itself. Used it to replace multiple spark plugs with two different engines (spark plug size). When taking off the spark plug is not a problem as you can just pull off the rubber holder from the spark plug and re-insert it back into the socket. However, when installing the new spark plugs back in, it is super annoying and inconvenient, you need long neck needle nose plier to be able to reach back down into the engine to retrieve the rubber inner piece every time. Not recommended!

The spark plug rubber grommet is totally useless, doesn’t hold them at all. I ended up having to use tweezers to pinch the spark plugs out once they are undone. The actual metal park it fine, it’s just the spark plug rubber is more like plastic, no grip.
