I carry my weight in my belly and thighs. I purchased these to wear while walking my dogs in the winter. I bought the L\XL size. They're a bit long on me, but that's fine. The fit is great. Not too loose, not too tight. No muffin top. In the photos, I pulled one leg down to the middle of my foot so you get an idea of the length. They are high waisted, roughly 3" above my belly button (I'm touching my belly button in the one photo). The waist is a wide one and I haven't had any problems with it rolling down at all. The material is a little shiny but more knit than one of those slick athletic fabrics. It's a thin fleece too. I think I was expecting more of an athletic legging with thicker fleece. I just walked the dogs. It's 42F outside with a 10mph wind. My legs stayed warm. Hoping these hold up in colder temps. If not, I'll just throw on some silky long johns underneath too. Usually I'm not happy with wearing leggings because they pull down in the back and I'm constantly pulling them up but these have a high waist with a wide band. I'm a size 16 and 5' 5" tall and I ordered the large/ extra large and the colors are very vibrant.
