The GoPro Contour has good build quality. You can charge your GoPro without opening the side door, and it also supports charging while in use. In fact, you can even use it without a battery — but only if you’re charging it through a compatible power source. However, it does not work without a battery when connected to the charging port installed on your bike. In that case, a battery must be inserted for it to function properly. If your bike’s charging port provides higher output power, it may still work, but for GT 650 users, unfortunately, it typically won’t support battery-less operation. You’ll need to insert a battery for reliable performance.

Finalmente. Uso gopro da anni con battery pack per estendere la durata della registrazioni. L'accessorio costa, ma funziona. La calamita è forte e non si stacca facilmente. Si allinea da solo. Peso ridotto notevolmente. Credo che sia la mia soluzione finale dopo tanti anni di prove.

easy to install, works great on my hero 9, connects without any issues whatsoever, really high quality part but then as it is OEM you would hope so!

Great item, should be included when buying the camera

Used this on a multi thousand mile road trip and it worked outstanding the whole time. The way the magnet grabs the correct position is outstanding. No problems with the door or the fit. Note that this will not have the same water resistance as the original door, but that was clear in the instructions. Swapping the doors was easy, just open to 90 degrees and gently pull out, do not force or twist. Very happy with this. It was expensive, but did a great job and happy with the results.
