After years of keeping scalp psoriasis at bay, it came back really bad in the last 6 months. I had been using psoriasis shampoos and prescribed steroid lotions but it was getting worse. Then I tried anything that had good reviews but nothing was working until I tried this. From the first application it soothed my scalp and the plaques were not thick and raised. Already after 3 days it is less visible when I put my hair up and I'm not uncomfortable or itchy. The smell of the cream is fine and as it's a cream that melts into an oil texture, it's really easy to apply without it getting stuck all in your hair. I barely get any flakes on my shoulders now which used to get embarrassing. Definitely recommend!

I have suffered severely with psoriasis for as long as i can remember. I have to swap medicated shampoos every few months and can't brush my hair without it looking like its snowed. This stuff is excellent. Apply wherever you need to and leave it on as long as you can. I tend to cover my pillows in towels and sleep in an old shower cap and then wash out the next day. All the scales come off within a couple of days, its pretty grim but really satisfying because there is no itching, all the scabs and flakes will just pick and fall off with ease (again, how grim is this description?!) Its not a cure, you will have to do it again, but for when it gets bad, this stuff saves me from shaving my head and going bobbing for apples in acid!

I use this for scalp psoriasis and it works really well. It smells a bit clinical and don’t get it on your jewellery as it really tarnishes it. Quite expensive but considering how well it works I think it’s worth it.

This stuff is magic! It has transformed the psoriasis on the backs of my hands. I apply the ointment before going to bed, with my hands in disposable nitrile gloves. Generally it is on for 4-5 hours. There was an obvious improvement within a week! I have given it a rest now for about a month & there is little regression. I plan to give it another go to see if I can clear the skin further. The smell is less disgusting to me than some people seem to find it: it's tar, what do you expect? To me it smells of success. On the other hand, it's probably as well that I sleep alone. Tar is carcinogenic, but, like any carcinogen, cessation of exposure allows molecular repair to proceed; in the same way that, after giving up smoking, the likelihood of lung cancer decreases progressively.

I'm not going to complain about the smell because it is quite noticeable. I have had pretty bad psoriasis for more than a few years after originally getting it around the age of 25. I'm now 60 and have used many treatments of which more than few did only a negligible job. The fact that this has coal-tar included is, for me, the game changer. It has done a job on my scalp psoriasis and it looks to me that it could become a permanent fixture on my shopping list.

I've been using this cream for years for the psoriasis on my head. Firstly there is no cure for psoriasis only relief. And this cream offers that, I use once a week overnight is best. Put an old towel on your pillow as it does stain, then gently with a fine tooth comb (I use a nit comb) remove the scales and then wash with medicated shampoo. It is expensive and I used to get it on prescription but that's changed to a 40g tube, so works out cheaper to get this and it lasts a while.

I have patches of psoriasis on my legs and this ointment soothes it and dries the areas. My doctor recommended it and it does help to manage this skin condition.

I had been using a mild steroid lotion from my GP to treat my Psoriasis for around 18 months with little to no effect. My sister who lives abroad recommended Cocois ointment but I didn't believe her success story. I thought it wouldn't work for me. I was wrong. My scalp was transformed in two weeks. Yep, two weeks. I put it on the effected areas before bed and left it on overnight with an old towel on my pillow. Now I hardly use it. Please, please, please try this ointment if your Psoriasis is effecting your life. It really does work.
