Burt's Bees Liquid Lipstick

I love the color that I purchased and plan on ordering a different shade for more everyday wear. It is smooth, and glossy with a very rich color. I love that it is moisturizing and has no annoying scent or taste.

Very pigmented. I like to use it over a clear chapstick and blend it out from the center of my lips for a gradient 3d effect. It can go on sheer or you can build it up for a more bold look. My favorite everyday color! I have bought 3 tubes so far of this same shade

A very nice lipstick. Goes on smoothly and is not sticky or goopy and has no fragrance or taste.

Good moisture and shine

This is a great product. Very pigmented and lasts for hours. I'm very pleased and feel I got a good value for my money. I bought several other colors.

The coverage is good, the color is rich... but it's too dark of a color for me. Most of my experience with Burts Bees lip gloss has been a more sheer coverage, but this is much deeper and darker in tone. Also, I think it has a blue base because it makes my teeth look yellow. I only wear this if I put a very, very small dot on my lips, use another lightly colored gloss, and blend them both together. It's way too dark for me to wear on its own. I won't buy this color again.

Smears not my favorite

This lipstick is too dramatic for my preference, but perhaps I did not read the description properly. Because it's Burts Bees I was expecting a little more transparency and less intensity. If you like bold red lips it might just be the cat's pyjamas. For me it gives a softer tint that I like with blotting, but that causes it to lose the moisture and gloss so I have to apply another product on top.

I am a big Burt's Bees fans. I tried the colour "Rushing Rose". I like it really a lot - the perfect colour for me. It is nicely moisturizing, and less sticky than most similar products I have tried. It definitely will not last all day but then I wouldn't expect it to - it is not a lip stain. I love that it is a more natural product and that it looks and feels good on. I am happy to recommend it! :)

There are some considerable pros as well as cons to this beautiful lipstick, which is why I ended up being on the fence about it at the end of the day. On the pro side, all of the colours that I was sent to try are beautiful, and even though most shades of lipstick don't compliment my skin tone, all of these did manage to make me look great! This was an incredibly easy product to apply, and when applied using the included wand, it just glided right on to my lips and looked great right away. This product is natural and not tested on animals, so it is a product that I can feel great about using on a daily basis! The major con with this lipstick for me was lack of staying power. Since it never really dries on your lips it transfers quite easily and doesn't last long. I applied the Rushing Rose colour right before a special dinner and by the time the appetizer came out I had almost no lipstick left because it had transferred to my glass as well as somehow to my chin. Very frustrating if you have any intention of eating or drinking while wearing this! I really loved everything about this lipstick with the exception of the staying power. I really wish that there was some way for me to make it actually stay on my lips, as it would have easily been a 5 star rating from me if it had.

This Burt's Bees liquid lipstick is definitely very pigmented. It goes on easily, just as a lip gloss but gives so much colour payout. It also gives you the shine of lip gloss which is fantastic. The Blushing Rose colour is described as in the Pink/Coral family but I would call it more red. It is almost a bit gloopy when you first put it on but now I wipe a bit off of the applicator, on the tube top, so less comes out so it isn't as gloopy and glides on more evenly. I was disappointed that it transfers so easily. Even after waiting for it to dry slightly, an hour later, I drank an espresso and it transferred all over the cup. Now that being said, I still had a lot of colour on my lips. If I didn't eat or drink, it lasted about 6 - 8 hours. But when I am eating and drinking, I find that it only lasts 2-3 hours. Also for me, after 2 hours, my lips started to feel dry and I had to try hard not to put lip balm on, on top of this so I could give it a proper review. I think for a special night out, I would wear this but on a daily basis throughout work when I am having coffee and snacks, it isn't the best since so much of it transfers.

Creamy and smooth moisturizing lip colour. It lasts for a while but as a lipstick/gloss texture this product needs to be reapplied throughout the day. It is a beautiful colour and there are so many to choose from. It applies smoothly and has a gloss to it. Burts bees is a great brand name and this gloss is 100% natural like many of their products. Great small tube for portability and to throw it in your pocket. No worries about this one spilling as it has a screw on lid and a tight seal. Great bang for your buck!
