Excellent hedgetrimmer. 1. I use this on a privet hedge and it cuts it very well. A few of the very thick pieces ot struggles with, but most hedgetrimmers do in my experience 2. So much lighter than the precious pole hedgetrimmer i had. Night and day difference that makes it really usable, manouverable and not tiring. Gitvthe whole hedge done in one stint of 1 1/2 hours 3. I was amazed that although you get two batteries with the product, which in itself is brilliant and I thought essential, I only needed one battery, single charge. Incredible. All in all, this hedgetrimmer has made my life sooooo much easier and saves me lots of time. Oh yes, it's very versatile in terms of rotating handle, rotating head at different angles and variable length pole. All of this functionality is very easy to change too. Extremely happy with my purchase ans would definitely recommend. PS I looked at loads of them before buying; bored myself silly in the process, but glad I settled on this one. Hope this helps. Excellent item. I am stuggling to maintain an old hawthorn hedge that is also a field boundary. The hedge is quite tall and deep. This enables me to reach as high and wide as I want. I am fairly elderly and spent all my working life at a desk. This is very light and easy to use. Even with the pole extended it is still manageable and it has surprised me how well it cuts stems as thick as my little finger. I had a few worried moments with the side levers. As they were plastic I was afraid of putting too much pressure on them but once I got the courage they snapped open and shut very effectively (without breaking). I am still trying to master the safety switch release. Trying to get the sequence of pressing the switch forward and squeezing the handle takes a few attempts but it does work! I can thoroughly recommend this for any previously sedentary person taking over a neglected garden . I spent over half an hour topping out my hedge without the battery failing and the fact that they provide two batteries gives added peace of mind. It is no noisier than my other battery trimmers and certainly much quieter than a petrol one.

Easy to use, and in my opinion good value!

This is a good cutter, I like that it comes with two batteries. The reach is also good and each battery lasts a good amount of time. The blade is sharp and gets through even the thickest of branches that fit between the blades. It looks good and feels good in the hand as well. Downsides, the batteries don't come with a dock and need to be individually plugged in, minor issue to be fair. The other downside is that the blade length is shorter than I would have liked (41cm) but this was my preferred telescopic cutter from all the other options and I'm not dissatisfied with the quality. It has good options for moving the cutting head into various positions and angles and is good value for money overall.

An excellent product, especially for the price. Comes with two batteries which is good so work doesn’t stop when a battery runs down. I cut a 20 metre long hedge, untouched for two years with ease.

Seems well built and not too heavy but when extended fully and holding at handle end the weight of the motor and blades at the opposite end are exaggerated,for me at least the harness is essential.

The Amazon picture clearly shows a pole length of 8FT. The pole length is nowhere near that. The actual pole length is 5 FT 1 inch / 155cm (measured as close to the same way as the item's picture on Amazon as possible). Even end-to-end the product is only just over 7 FT (7ft 2 inches / 218.5cm) so there seems no explanation for the stated length of 8 FT. See photos for actual measurements. Including a "correction" to the picture seen on Amazon. This will be going back as it will not reach the top of the tall hedge it was purchased for.

Wasn't sure i could handle a hedge trimmer. But this one is light, blade is sharp and the angle can be changed quickly/easily . The telescoping pole was tall enough with lots of room to spare. Two batteries is appreciated. Trimmed 24 cedar hedges (8ft tall) with only one battery and cutting was nice and clean. Wish the blade was another 4 inches longer so that i could have trimmed the entire top of the cedars without getting up on a ladder. But it was still easy enough. Also trimmed the front shrub garden (all less than 3ft tall) and the trimmer worked just fine. Very happy with this purchase!

This pole saw is reliable and well built. It is a great value for the money and incredibly helpful when needing to cut high up or hard to reach branches. Two batteries means you can cut all day if need be. Highly recommended.
