It steps down from 62 to 58m and allows me to use a smaller adapter/filter on my current lens.It was just rattling around loose in a cardboard box. Since these threads are pretty delicate I would have liked to see at least a plastic bag to protect it a bit more.Overall good quality. What I have come to expect from Tiffen.

Not much to say, it fits, it screws on correctly. It does what it was purchased for, reduce ring size on my filter mount.
