โฅWT32-ETH01 development board is an embedded serial to Ethernet module based on ESP32 series. It integrates the optimized TCP/IP protocol stack, which is convenient for users to easily complete the networking functions of embedded devices, while greatly reducing the development time cost.In addition, the module is compatible with half-pad and connector through-hole design, the board width is a general width, the module can be directly soldered on the board, the connector can also be soldered, and it can also be used on a breadboard, which is convenient for users to use in different scenarios. โฅWT32-ETH01 Development Board Product parameters๏ผ โฅIndustrial operating temperature range: -40ยฐC -+85ยฐC โฅSerial port baud rate: 80-5000000 โฅNetwork protocols: IPv4,TCP/UDP โฅSoftware encryption: AES/RSA/ECC/SHA โฅThe product has passed FCC/CE/RoHS standard certification โฅWi-Fi Protocol: 802.11 b/g/n/e/i (802.11n, speed up to 150 Mbps); A-MPDU and A-MSDU aggregation, support 0.4_s guard interval โฅWi-Fi frequency range: 2.4~2.5 GHz โฅBluetooth Protocol: Compliant with Bluetooth v4.2 BR/EDR and BLE standards Review: Perfect for home automations - Perfect for home automations and can fit in small spaces pretty inconspicuously. Review: Works great...but needed an external capacitor to initiate a power-on-reset - Needed a 10uF capacitor between GND and IO0 to reliably reset after a power cycle. Works reliably after that. Ethernet performance/speed is great.

great combination of features, low price
I needed a controller board with both WiFi and an Ethernet port. There's no documentation that comes with the board, but there's plenty of youtube videos and posts about it online. I was able to get it connected and working in a few minutes. You'll need a USB to TTL converter to program the board. I used the HiLetgo CP2102 USB 2.0 to TTL Module Serial Converter Adapter Module USB to TTL Downloader with Jumper Wires. That device also provides 5V for the board. There is Arduino development environment support for this module. You'll find some how to instructions if you search for the board name and Arduino. The pins are soldered "upside down" from the typical orientation, but that doesn't matter for my project. If you search for wireless tag WT32-S1 you'll find useful documentation about the chip, pin outs, etc..

Utter trash
Even if you can get this into flash mode (like all other dev boards a few years back, you need a Serial TTL programmer) the flash gets corrupted on the next boot. I tried 3 different pre-built BIN files as well as a quick-and-dirty piece of software of my own creation. Just absolute junk. Save you time and just buy a decent esp32 dev-board then a SPI Ethernet breakout. You will thank me later.
