This make up brush set is simple. I feel they are a good as a starter set or even replacement of old ones. I threw all of old ones out after getting this set. The bristles are soft, but firm. I feel the brushes are good quality although I am not a make up brush expert. The appearance of the brushes are as pictured and I am happy with them. Not weird odors out of the box.

Bought the set for my daughter while they were on prime sale, and worth the investment! They can with a wider variety than expected and the quality was lovely. The brushes were soft, handles were secured, and the color purple was just darling! So far zero complaints about anything.

These little brushes are perfect for every day use or for travel use. I was really impressed with the bristles. I've had no fallout from the bristles since purchase and I use them daily. They are soft, easy to clean, the heads don't wobble, and they don't look or feel cheap. The shapes are a little odd on the larger brushes but I've used them all for various tings and they always distribute product easily. They also don't absorb product so you don't waste much.

I was a little worried purchasing unknown makeup brushes because the quality can vastly differ between brushes but these brushes are amazing! They blend super nicely when applying makeup! The brushes also came with a manual that explained what to use each brush for which I found really helpful as I don’t know much about makeup. The only thing I don’t like is how wide the handles of the brushes are, it makes them a little harder to store and hold.

I've been applying foundation with my fingers for almost 40 years and finally decided to try using brushes - GAME CHANGER! For the price this is a great little starter set of brushes - it has everything you need, and more (there are still a few brushes that I haven't used yet) And as a bonus you get TWO sponges! I mean, come on... The bristles are really soft, and the handles are comfortable to hold, makeup applies smoothly and easily. Only problem I've had is I ruined the Foundation brush. I stupidly bought makeup shampoo to wash my brushes with, and it was a complete waste of money because I had to use several applications of shampoo, rubbing and massaging the bristles, rinsing, and repeating over and over again. The bristles are packed well and very dense, but eventually the hairs started to come out, and when a few came out, then more, and well, soon they weren't holding together anymore. I also was using a rubber brush cleaner, with different raised bumps and ridges, so maybe that was the problem too. Maybe I applied more pressure than I thought trying to rub the makeup out. Either way, lesson learned! Now I just get the bristles wet and gently rub them on a bar of soap for a bit, then massage them and rinse, maybe repeat if needed, until the brushes are clean, and set in a holder to air dry. I keep a bar of soap in a travel container under the sink and only use it for cleaning my brushes. I've cleaned several brushes this way MANY more times than I did on the Foundation brush using the shampoo. So, either that brush was a dud, or I was just rubbing too hard, or too much, trying to get it clean. Now I just use the Contour Brush to apply foundation, and it works great. I apply makeup maybe 3 days a week using the Contour, Blush, Concealer, and Powder brushes every time and wash the brushes about once every two weeks, when they start looking 'dirty' with makeup. They are holding up great! Haven't lost a single hair since cleaning them this way. This would also make a great gift set for someone just starting out experimenting with makeup. Set comes in a box, not just loose brushes, with each brush in a plastic sleeve, each sponge comes in a zip-lock bag. It also comes with an instruction sheet showing a picture of each brush and what to use each one for. Very helpful for starters, though it is written a little small for my old eyes. Very glad I purchased this set, would definitely but again!

These are much smaller than expected! I bought them because I had pink eye and had to change out all my brushes so I was looking for something with a good price point. They do the trick and apply makeup very nicely but they are not dense enough. Way too soft for what I wanted. They are really pretty though! But definitely shorter and smaller than I thought. They seem pretty durable so that’s a plus! 4 stars is for how small they are.

The brushes are soft and look great. There is a leaflet that comes with them from Beakey and it gives you the name of the brushes and diagrams of where each brush is meant to be used on the face. It also gives full instructions in different languages on how to clean and maintain the brushes, which is important not only for hygiene reasons but for the longevity of the brush to maintain a prime condition which serves the user. So I was very pleased to see how Beakey gave such important aftercare with this leaflet. In this leaflet they thank the customer for choosing them and say they want the customer to be 100% satisfied and therefore give a 6 month warranty or replacement for any dissatisfaction which is very rare these days, and shows true commitment from Beakey! This company is proud of it's products and wants the users to get the best out of the brushes. It encourages the customer to contact them for any after sales needs that they may have. I liked that a lot because they value the customer! I was very happy and satisfied and I LOVE the brushes and i would 100% recommend these to anyone who is looking to buy some very good value brushes with excellent after sales care and 6 months warranty or replacement for any dissatisfaction……there is nothing better that that to give a customer confidence to buy a product. Definitely worth the money. The foundation brushes are a good thickness to apply product with minimal waste and handling them feels natural - you'll have excellent control over the product placement. The concealer brushes are excelent. Product placement and blending is very simple. Long enough from tip to end to use them any wich way. I would like to see a couple of brushes with smaller heads or shorter bristles for better precision. Eyeshaddow brushes are brilliant. Eyeshadow payoff is on point - be carefull the brushes do pick up alot of product. Blending is easy, would like to see some precision brushes. The rest are standard -contouring, bronzer, and blush. The blush brush is very dense, probably better for cream blushes rather than powder if you don't want to spend all day bleanding it out. I'm using my own. The smell I see people talking about is the pink brush cleaner - give it a wash in warm soapy water. Always clean your brushes before you use them. There had been a couple that the casing had come off the handle - easy to fix with a tiny bit of nail glue or super glue. Some bristles had been bent out of place - because they are synthetic the can easily be blow dried back in place on low heat. Blowing with the bristes and brushing with a clean spoolie. !!!Avoid heating the metal case or else the glue that holds the bristles in will weaken!! Brush cleaning tip; wash the bristles themselves - avoid soaking them or washing the entire brush. Once water gets withing the casing it starts harbouring bacteria. Wash your brushes with a makeup removing foaming or gel cleanser like garnier micealar. Fast shipping within Australia.
