Sally's Baking 101: Foolproof Recipes from Easy to Advanced

I bought this cookbook for my wife for Christmas since she already owns a few other books by this author, and it has quickly become one of her favorites. She has already tried several recipes from it, and many of them have become family favorites at our house. What we really appreciate about this book is the great variety of recipes. There are plenty of options for everyday meals as well as dishes that feel a little more special when you want to try something new. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, which makes cooking from the book simple and enjoyable. Another highlight is the beautiful photos throughout the book. It’s always helpful to see what the finished dish should look like, and the pictures make it easy to pick out recipes you want to try next. Overall, this cookbook has been a great addition to our kitchen. If you enjoy flavorful, creative recipes with clear instructions and great visuals, this one is definitely worth adding to your collection.

I absolutely love love this cookbook! I have so many pages marked that on recipes I want to make. So far I have made probably a dozen of her recipes and they have all turned out perfect. I love that she has recipes for beginner intermediate and advanced and pictures and explains everything thoroughly at every level.

The book is amazing! I highly recommend this baking book. It is beautiful, has illustrations for every recipe, and the recipes are all things that I want to make. Nothing is overly complicated. The recipes are common(ish), but perfected. This would be an excellent gift for a bride, a teen learning to cook, or anyone that would enjoy a beautifully illustrated cookbook that includes many classics. Sadly, once again, Amazon has shipped a damaged book to me or the book was damaged in shipping. I will send the copy I received back and get a replacement. I love Sally's recipes. They are easy to follow and always taste great. This cookbook is no exception. The content is mainly for desserts but it does offer some brunch recipes, too. There are plenty of baking hints and the illustrations are helpful! Sally takes recipes to the highest level by changing things and making baking an easy endeavor!

This baking book is honestly so easy to use and impossible to mess up. There’s a solid mix of sweet and savory recipes, from cookies and cakes to breads and brunch staples. I also love that it has both quick, easy bakes for when you're short on time and a few more ambitious recipes for when you're feeling extra.

I have enjoyed baking my whole life. With so many avenues to take for finding recipes it seems like good old fashioned recipes in cookbooks have taken a back seat to high tech. Turning the pages of a book, seeing the pictures and taking in a recipe slowly brings a much needed comforting aspect to baking. There isn't a recipe in this book that I wouldn't try as they are all simple enough to create and proud to have completed. Well worth the purchase.
