Very easy to shorten difficult to extend
Very practical. Very cheap alternative to very expensive Petzl Connect Adjust. Smooth and easy to shorten but difficult to extend with body weight on.

Doesn't fit my carabiners.
Carabiners have many shapes, none of my locking ones will fit sadly. I don't want a product that will only work with one or two carabiners on my harness if I buy ones that do fit

ich habe mir das bestellt um eine verstellbare Kurzsicherung (so wie z.B. Rock Empire PIP) zu haben. Lange habe ich nach 8-9 mm Dynamikseil gesucht - nicht Reepschnur! - mit dem Beal 8.1 Unicore habe ich ein Seil gefunden, das mit dem Kong zusammen ein Positionierwerkzeug bis 10m Länge UND einer Dämpfung des Fangstoßes bietet. Perfekt zur Kurzsicherung, als Backup an der Steigklemme, zur Positionierung an der Steigklemme oder am Anschlagpunkt. Super auch als verstellbare Trittschlinge.

You will need your own length of rope, but kong has a video of how to set it up.

Well made. Allowed me to make a couple of adjustable lanyards with dynamic rope aka a lightweight positioning/belay anchor. Allows the rope to slide and lock precisely when you need it.
