I have a local ISP connection at my home with a 100 Mbps connection. Using it with amazonbasics CAT7 15 ft cable. Bandwidth was decreased from 7-9 seconds to 1-2 seconds and download speed increased by 10-12%. No change in upload speed. Pros: - Just Plug & Play - True Gigabit - Sleek Minimal Design - Sturdy Flat Cable - Working Perfectly on Dell Inspiron (Windows 10 Home) and Macbook Air 13 (No Driver's needed) - USB C assists the connection fast, more stable and futureproof for higher speeds Cons: - It may get hot during long usage (After using continuously for 5 hours. Also surrounding temperature plays a big role) - My dell Inspiron battery is draining fast with this device but no such issue with MacBook air I purchased it during the festive sale at Rs 809 /- Therefore find it very affordable & useful. My wifi doesn't work seamlessly with VPN but this ethernet makes the connection very smooth. If you use a VPN or troubleshooting very often, I highly recommend this product.

Most Sony TVs are gimped with 100mbs ethernet speeds, but I wanted to maximize as much internet speed I have as possible (1000/40mbps). Wifi is pretty good, but the speeds varied quite a bit. At the time of testing, the speed tester app (search it in the Google store app on your TV), I was getting 280mbps ish. I searched online and reddit suggested this adapter and it worked! Straight plug and play! I'm now getting 900mbps+. This is a niche use case but could work for others in my situation! Note that, this fix only works for models starting from X900H onwards and updated to Android 10 supposedly. YMMV.
