I doubled up and put together to make a sandwich cake as the tray bakes seem too small/shallow. Despite mixing up 2/3rds of the icing sugar for the frosting, it was still WAY too sweet - even for my 2 year old?! It doesn't taste bad in itself, but you don't want to use too much on the cake when its that sweet. I used about 3/4s of the total frosting I mixed up, and that was too much, we ended up scraping some off again. Thankfully, the cake is delicious enough to eat without frosting! RECOMMEND.
