I snowboard, and in my old age have begun booting up in the lodge. I've had issues with boot lockers and other similar bags, as I also want it to double as a duffel boot bag for air travel. It seemed all you could really get on the market were duffels, or backpacks. This is both. My only gripe is that a sling strap wasn't included, but I think this is pretty typical of Osprey or any similar brand. I just purchased one separately on amazon, which unfortunately doesn't match. Function over style, right?Keep in mind this is the large version of this bag - there is a smaller version. The large version will best work for my needs. It's huge - you can fit boots, outerwear, helmet, lunch. Its relevant strengths are durability, light weight, and flexibilty of stowaway backpack straps. Big minus is that it's lockable only by securing soft zipper pulls together.
