OWB Universal Magazine Holster

Haven’t tested it much yet because I’ve only had it for a few days. I was asked nicely to leave a review so I will. I have yet to take it to the range. When trying it on at home it seems like it checks all the boxes I was looking for. It’s adjustable but it adjusts enough to be snug. I noticed reviews of other products said it didn’t tighten enough. This one tightens plenty. The adjusting screw does not seem like it has the chance to fall out like reviews of other products I read. Even though there’s only one screw it is effective enough. The adjustable clip for the belt size functions well. I wear a 1.5 inch belt and it fits great. There’s room for much wider belts as well. For now it seems well worth the purchase. I spent a lot on my OWB gun holster because I wanted it custom but I’m glad i didn’t spend over $50 on my mag holster because i think this will hold up fine. I’ll update if anything changes

Needed a mag holster for my glock mags. I picked this unit, and I am very pleased with it so far. Its a pretty simple design, mags fit well into holster and are retained securely and are also easy to remove. You can adjust the angle of the mags default is vertical to a about 55 degrees and also change the size of the belt latch, looks like max size is around 2 1/2 inches (with the adjuster bar removed and the adjuster will decrease down to around 1 1/2in . Where the belt goes, there is a little retention arm to keep the holster secure. I would definitely buy again, and probably will.

I picked one of these up because I needed a new mag carrier for my new M&P duty pistol - the M&P mags are fatter than Beretta mags, so my old Safariland triple pouch won't work. I am giving this one a go. So far the only thing I do not like about it - the belt attachment does not lock. Its a Tek-Lok-ish attachment, but there is no built in mechanism to lock the locking piece to keep it from opening when you don't want it to. It attaches very easily to the belt, and removes just as easily - but that's the only issue, its TOO easy to remove when you *don't* want to remove it - my solution - run a zip tie around the belt attachment to prevent unintentional release of the belt attachment. I don't want my mag pouches coming off in a fight, or popping off if they get snagged on something. The magazine carrier body itself is just fine - it holds my M&P mags well enough. If you're a security officer or new police recruit providing your own gear and you're facing budgetary constraints - its not a bad option. Is it Safariland quality? No, but its not Safariland price either. Its on par or better than Blackhawk gear, better than Uncle Mike's gear, and better than the Fobus gear I've run. Yeah, I'll probably replace it with a Safariland or SafeLife Defense triple mag carrier eventually.

this is a pretty versatile, utilitarian mag holder. the belt clip is very sturdy and adjustable to reduce play and sliding on a smaller belt while being able to accommodate a larger one. I like the adjustable cant and retention as well. I have a Beretta M9A1 so the magazines are the same as other 92 series. I have mags from two different manufacturers with slightly different profiles and they both fit easily and securely after adjusting the retention. overall, a good value for a very useful mag holder.

Excellent product, I would buy again

Well built and sleek design. Fits all of my double-stack 9mm magazines, and the belt clip is robust. However, some of the product description is contradictory... So, to clarify: This will likely NOT fit .45 double-stack magazines. They're usually just *slightly* larger than 9mm/.40 variants. I tried Springfield XD-45 mags and they did not fit. Also, it didn't work with any single-stack 9mm mags that I have (like for the S&W Shield 9mm). Product is still 5 stars; just wanted to clarify fitment in case anyone is curious.
