Earthwise BL84040 40V 4Ah Battery

Exactly the right battery for my snowblower!

Had a horrible snow removal situation where there was destruction of property and a jerk of a customer service OWNER, so I had to find something that would allow me (disabled mess) to just push a snow thrower with no cord, and I don't like flammable liquids in my garage- SO, I got the battery operated Earthwise snow thrower. It's been great ! The battery lasts plenty of time to clear a sidewalk and double wide driveway. I got extra batteries and chargers for big storms, but am very pleased with the battery quality and no loss of strength of oomph even towards the end of the snow clearing. For someone who is in constant pain, it'd be nice not to have a graduate of the school for the visually impaired doing my snow removal- but this set up will work for now. Good to have options.

I bought the snowthrower and this extra battery last season, charged both but only needed the original. This season the original died after extended use, so I put in the extra. I could make 2 passes then the machine stops. I take the battery out and put it back in and again it works for a single pass then the machine stops. The battery must not fit properly. The original battery has zero issues, so it isnt the machine

Great product. Works like a charm

Very very disappointed in this battery. I have had these batteries for about a year, only use them 4 to 5 times, and the mechanism that makes them lock in to the snowthrower, a little plastic piece, has broken on both batteries. These batteries cost over $100 each, with neither of them working the snowthrower is absolutely useless. Maybe I need to look into Ego power products, one of my friends has their leaf blower and loves it, It’s cordless with a good battery holder. I really hope someone reads this review who can link me to earthwise for I could not find their company website after 90 minutes searching on the web. The one listed on the Amazon page is incorrect.
