Canon ixus 265hs full hd wifi** A: The Canon IXUS 160 is not the Canon IXUS 265HS. That would be hocus pocus. It would be magic if we could buy the 265HS at the price of the 160. This camera does not have the cauldron of features of the 265HS. **Q: Are photos HD quality? if anyone has pictures can you attach some for me :D thanks** A: I have currently made a complaint to Canon regarding the quality of photographs. Initially it took good HD photos, however after a few months the quality has deteriorated very badly. The photographs are now of a very poor quality and it seems to be an issue raised by other reviewers. Canon have not replied to my complaint yet (1 week ago) I recommend you buy another camera. I was a Canon fan, but not any more. **Q: Does this camera have a mic so that you can hear sound when shooting videos?** A: Yes - worked well on recent trip to Canada; roaring waterfalls, speech, etc. **Q: how do I download onto my computer or how do I copy the photos taken please?** A: You can either remove the memory card from the camera and put it in the memory card slot of the computer(need a adaptor card reader) because the camera memory card will be to small for computer slot . Or just simply run a usb cable from camera to laptop (which is wot I would do. Once plugged in to computer the pictures will show on screen simply drag files onto desktop and move into appropriate folder. Once on the computer you can use copy and paste to create multiple times. Need to adjust the settings to get best quality pictures. Reading on websites best quality if you buy sdhc class 10 card 32gb which I have just purchased via Amazon. I bought this camera to replace my previous metal case Canon camera which I had for many years. Although this is not metal cased it doesn't feel as cheap as some of the other Reviewers have specified. I have got some lovely shots of the family. One of the pluses of this camera is that it will fit in a handbag. ### ⭐⭐⭐ NEWER DOSEN'T ALWAYS MEAN BETTER. *by H***D on 25 February 2015* Ordered it yesterday and arrived well packaged and on time at the Amazon locker today. I bought this to replace my ageing but still working well IXUS 40. On unpacking my initial response was disappointment. The new 160 is much less weighty, looks and feels more fragile. I doubt it will stand much user punishment. Overall the build quality is poor by comparison to the 40. The plastic looks and feels cheap. The spring loaded mechanism for the battery is of poor design and it's a real fiddle coaching the battery in and out for charging. Even the battery itself is a poor substitute for the original IXUS 40 model. Does it take good pictures? Well I will never know, I have already passed it on to my daughter.
