Sengoku Basara 3 Utage [Japan Import]

This game is absolutely amazing on almost every level. The original Sengoku Basara 3 (Samurai Heroes) had only 3 modes to speak of: Story, Free, and Gallery. Utage has: Story, Unification, Event, Versus, Free, and Gallery. It might not sound like much at first glance, but on the contrary it has several submodes inside them to keeps things fresh and exciting for months/years to come. One thing to understand is that this is an expansion of 3, as such the main story is found in that game, Utage's story is a supplement to it and as such it's story is shorter, linear, and easier given there's only 8 story characters as opposed to 16 in the original. On the brightside however the game boasts a large roster of 30 almost doubling the roster of the original, each character with interesting and varied gameplay, no two characters play alike and that is to be commended. The gameplay itself is probably the best I've ever seen from the genre, people often say the masters of the genre are Koei with the Warriors games, and those games are great as well, but they only take advantage of two buttons on the controller, Sengoku on the other hand uses every single button giving you far more combat and combo options to have fun with. All in all I'd say this is truly the best Hack N Slash I've ever played and it is well worth the price of admission. The PS3 is region-free so you can play this game on any PS3 without the need of hacking devices, just beware that without any english text in the game that you will be spending a lot of time looking at translation guides for the story and customization modes.

Very very good! Excellent condition and awesome characters... if you like hack and slash games this is by far one of the best. Everything is in japanese but you can look up translations etc. Overall awesome game and very pleased with it

I wish this got a release in the U.S. and truly wish for the possible increase in popularity in Sengoku Basara to gain some more attention and possible future releases world wide. This is an amazing addition to my collection and has me so pumped to get the 4th installment.

Nice amount of characters who are all unique combined with a low language barrier means you can't go too worng here if you are a fan of Warriors/Musou games. Good game to unwind with after a long day.

As a fan of sengoku basara, I love this game alot for an add-on of 3. For english players, its all japanese with no translation. But its a fun game to play.

I don't understand a darn bit of the writing...but I'm in America playing a Japanese game...so there's that. LOL! However, it plays just like Devil Kings (which is basically Basara 2) and Basara Sengko: Samurai Heroes (which is probably 3 or 4). It's hack/slash...great for those days of stress at work.

An important part to my Sengoku Basara library. The game is in flawless condition.

'Sengoku Basara 3 Utage' no es nada más que la versión ampliada de 'Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes' ('Sengoku Basara 3' en Japón), que incluye más personajes para jugar (que ya aparecían en el original, pero no eran jugables, excepto uno totalmente nuevo llamado Matsunaga Hisahide, que ya apareció en 'Sengoku Basara 2' pero no era jugable), más escenarios, minijuegos (no en vano, la palabra "Utage" del título significa "fiesta") y más modos de juego (entre ellos un modo "Historia"). Sin duda, esta es la versión que tendría que haber llegado a occidente, pero por desgracia las ventas del original no funcionaron muy bien, motivo por el cual Capcom no ha vuelto a traer más juegos de 'Sengoku Basara' fuera de Japón, a pesar de que no somos pocos los seguidores de esta divertidísima serie. Por eso no nos queda otra que tirar de importación, pero no hay de que preocuparse, ya que existen muchas guías de traducción de estos juegos por internet, con lo que la barrera del idioma no es un problema si uno pone de su parte (porque, efectivamente, el juego esta totalmente en japonés).

Le meilleur jeu de la PS3, très facile de s'y retrouver même sans parler un mot de japonais comme moi.
