Works very good. Easy to use and comes in handy when it records a wreck that happens in front of you.

So at this time, it is working fine. The quality of the picture may not be what they say on TV, but it is doing what I need it to do. There are some minor issues of starting it and stopping it when I need to, I thinks I need to just play around with it to learn it better. Mine did work right out of the box. It fits really snug, it's really hard to get on and off at times because it's snug. Not really an issue at this point. As long as it doesn't pull my other mirror off the windshield. I asked a question can you use the usb port to charge it up. I was told no! through the Q and A on Amazon. I sent an email to the company and they told me you can. So the answer is yes you can, but you will need the usb to micro, not mini. Yes I did try it and it worked. The number on the package is the same number for both, not sure why. My fingers are still crossed. I got the 1080 HD one, 16gb. I did get a sd card with the mirror. Actually I got a 8gb and a 16gb. Will update if anything happens. I do agree with everyone not as seen on TV. I did notice at night the only reason I could see was because my headlights were on. With them off, it would be completely black. So if someone was to bump my truck parked at night, not sure if it would pick that up or just be a black screen. I guess it depends on the lightning outside. Overall it does do what I want it to do. I suggest if you want it, go ahead and try it. That's the only way you will know for sure.

When these first came out they were quite the item, however compared to todays current camera technology, the 720P 4x3 lo-fi format lacks the resolution to record traffic incidents with sufficient detail to prove useful in some situations (such as a pedestrian incident). There is no wide-angle aspect to the camera, so the viewable area is severely limited. The max SD card is 32 GB and cells commonly use 128 GB cards now. What I like most is the mounting and ease of attachment but this product should be upgraded to a more useful and current technology camera system. Also, it would be nice if the "mirror" was self-darkening, as it will not reflect when you put your car's rear mirror mount into "night mode". Lastly, the LCD screen is woefully too dark to be of any use in the daytime and just barely visible at night when cars are behind you. All in all, I would not buy it for a gift or again if it gets lost or stolen.

The concept is great, the mirror works pretty good. It is not very sturdy, power adapter broke the 2nd time I plugged it in. In this case you get what you pay for, low quality device. I wish I had read the reviews before buying it.

It's helpful for me right after I brought it and hookon to use their is a road rage occurred. I turned the camera on them , on the back , when they noticed ,. They took off .and I feel so lucky

at first after ordering the mirror cam i was unhappy with my purchase because the memory card was not in the package when it arrived which was annoying but not a big deal but what was infuriating was the 973 phone number in rockaway nj they tell you to call which at first had a woman who answered who was busy with her kids and hung up on me . then i called again and got some guy who told me he would give me the number for amazon when in this case it wasn't amazon who forgot to put the memory card in and then he gave me a phone number with far too many digits in it. however if you reply to this company by e mail it's a whole different experience. they were very apologetic and quickly mailed me a memory card . as for video quality i don't know why people are complaining about it because i just watched the playback on my desk top computer monitor and i was very pleased with the quality. now it's just a matter of learning the technical stuff like being able to store videos in my computer file etc. in the long run i would recommend buying it . that video memory card could be worth it's weight in gold if you have an accident, a police stop etc because it's also recording audio inside your car too.

Love this camera. This may be unique to me; but the socket I plug the charger into is always on even with the camera turn off; so eventually the camera tends to seize up and requires a reset... To fix this I just turn the camera off when I Park and back on when I drive.

we have a Nissan 350Z convertible the mirror is too high up so you cant plug your mirror in too charge, not very good
