The Artist's Way Workbook

I purchased the Artists Way hardback along with the work book as I felt they would be useful as a combined tool for the spiritual development of my creative talents . The Books outline a 12 week course in personal artistic creativity in a spiritual journey, not in a religious sense although "God" is referred to. God as I understand it .. Is defined as a "Higher Power" a Power greater than myself . connected both within and without off myself a universal power. that can be anything I choose it to be . Once I come to believe in it then I am free to release my own creativity , no matter what it is, or may be, I am half way through the course ... find it very easy.. no pressure.. very interesting. Helpful and Enjoyable Well worth the effort,,, and I've met interesting people and made new friends

If is a fantastic book to work through to understand your hang ups and dealing with the bagage that everyone has but you don't know what is it specifically that is holding you back. This is brilliant for getting to grips with understanding the subconcious the things everyone finds it hard to understand about themselves and what it is or how to deal with what is holding you back, it helps you through this without years of councelling, 12 weeks to a new life, with major break throughs that just make life flow!

The work book gives you a structure and something to follow however it is better to read The Artist Way first as she does refer to subjects in her book in some of her work book exercises. It helps to lead one through the exercises.

Well worth buying with The artist way — totally love this experience of helping me declutter my thoughts make move forward with my goals, dreams and writing And awaken my creative soul of A blessing

My friend has been suggesting that I do this training for such a long time, I had put off even looking at it until she told me she had started doing the artist way with a Meetup Group locally. I don't have much time to attend those sorts of groups but with my growing artist skills I thought I would search for information about it. To my surprise I found this work book and it is very detailed and very big. I am going to do it as a home study course and maybe join a group when I get more time.

Really helped me unblock my creativity after many years of not painting, drawing or writing. I'm amazed at how quickly creative ideas started to flow after I started doing morning pages. It really IS like the universe notices and starts to throw you a bone.

Excellent guide as to how to develop one's inner creative potential. It facilitates this process by improving one's organisational habits and offering roads less travelled to explore our potential and to make the way forward a routine endeavour.

I love this whole concept and will Enjoy the process following the 12 week course.

This is an excellent companion to Julia Cameron's classic book The Artist's Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity . It offers 10 weeks of exercises that line up with the material presented in The Artist's Way, and there is lots of room to answer questions within the book. (There isn't room to do your morning pages. You'll need to provide your own notebook for that.) I've found it really inspiring, and having the exercises all laid out really motivates me to work through them. The book is oversized and spiral-bound. So, it is easy to open it up and work in it, but it is a bit large to carry around. The paper is fairly thick, and I haven't had any of my pens bleed through. (I use Pilot FriXion almost exclusively.) Note that you need to have a copy of The Artist's Way to get the most out of this book.
