Forbes’ Best Graphic Novels of 2018 WIRED Magazine’s Favorite End-of-Year Books, 2018 A brand-new ongoing horror series from the acclaimed best-selling creative team of Old Man Logan and Green Arrow! The lives of a reclusive young man obsessed with a conspiracy in the city's trash and a washed-up Catholic priest arriving in a small town full of dark secrets become intertwined around the mysterious legend of The Black Barn―an otherworldly building alleged to have appeared in both the city and the small town throughout history, bringing death and madness in its wake. Rural mystery and urban horror collide in this character-driven meditation on obsession, mental illness, and faith that Mark Millar (Hitgirl) called his "personal pick as the best comic of 2018!" Also featuring a variant cover gallery from some of comics' best artists, including Cliff Chiang (PAPER GIRLS), Jock (WYTCHES), Skottie Young (I HATE FAIRYLAND), and more! Collects GIDEON FALLS #1-6 Review: Jeff Lemire does it again - I am a fan of Lemire' s writing, and coupled with the artwork, this really is a work of art. The story is compelling, the characters well defined, and all-in-all this comic is one of the best. I have so far only read the first, but will not wait to rip through the rest. Highly recommended. Review: Fantastic - I really didn't know what to expect with this and after reading book one I still don't and I love it. Two fascinating stories, beautiful illustrations and I'm hooked. Bring on volume 2!

Really effective horror comic
Not my usual preferred genre, but if this is your particular kind of thing it's probably an easy 5*. The writing is great, the atmosphere well-evoked and the artwork is some of the cleverest I've seen in comics.

Unique and terrifying
A fantastic thriller/horror book1 collects the unique story of Gideon Falls and opens the series nicely with introduction of a set of characters, enough twists to keep you reading. Recommend this collection, up there with the best books of this medium.

Great book
One of the best things I’ve read in some time. The art in particular makes this really stand out form most other “good” comics, creating a really spooky surreal atmosphere. Have just finished volume 3 (you will have to keep going) and hasn’t disappointed yet.

Into Graphic Novels? Your going to love this!!
An awesome story very haunting & keeps you turning the pages, extremely compulsive I can't wait to dive into book 2. This would make a fantastic TV series too.

Deeply eerie
Fantastic horror graphic novel that tells its story as much through panel design and layout as it does through the excellent art and prose.

Quality Horror
I found issue #1 at my local comic store for $1 and thought I would give it a shot. I am very glad I did. So glad, in fact, that I had to check out the rest of it in this volume immediately after I finished reading. This is a very compelling story, keeps you on the edge of your seat and itching to turn the page, and is, most importantly for anything horror related, straight nightmare fuel. And I should know, I’ve had chronic night terrors since the age of 4. The dialogue feels natural, the illustrations are wonderfully adept at giving you that mildly queasy feeling you get when you look at something and its Just Not Quite Right, and the pacing, conversely, is very much Just Right. If you enjoy the sensation of growing unease, being anxious for what has yet to come, and the ever-present feeling of certain dread, you’re in good company with this book, as I have been while reading it.

Gran gran historia y mucho mejor arte
