works very well
What I like about the Senior Mobile Phone is that it works very well for my child. Despite being an older model, it does everything I need it to do, allowing her to stay connected while keeping things simple. I appreciate the fact that it doesn't have a lot of features, which helps protect her from online bullying. The phone can call and receive calls clearly, ensuring that I can always reach her when needed. It's a reliable choice for both safety and communication.

Loud and clear calls
Finding a communication device for my grandad meant prioritizing large text and loud volume. Setting up the contacts list took minutes due to the straightforward menu system, completely ignoring the complex menus found on modern touchscreens. The physical buttons click loudly when pressed, giving him clear tactile feedback to prevent typing the wrong numbers. The secondary screen on the front is quite handy for seeing who is ringing before flipping the device open. Dropping the unit into the charging cradle is much easier for his arthritic hands than fiddling with tiny cables in poor lighting. The emergency button on the back required careful explaining to ensure he doesn't press it accidentally while putting it in his pocket. The built-in torch turns on with a simple slider switch, providing a decent beam for finding the keyhole at night. Call quality sounds slightly tinny on my end, but he hears me perfectly.

Simple and Perfect for Seniors
Got this for my grandfather and it’s exactly what he needed. The big buttons and clear display make it easy for him to use without getting confused. The SOS feature gives us extra peace of mind, and the charging dock is very convenient. Battery life lasts several days on light use, which is great since he doesn’t have to charge it constantly.

Practical device
This phone is designed with simplicity in mind, making it ideal for elderly users. The large buttons and clear display make dialing and navigating much easier compared to standard smartphones. The dual screen feature is helpful, allowing quick access to basic information without opening the phone. The sound quality is loud and clear, which is especially useful for those with hearing difficulties. The SOS emergency button is a standout feature, providing added reassurance in case of emergencies. The charging dock is also convenient, removing the hassle of plugging in cables. Overall, it’s a thoughtful and practical device. It focuses on essential functions and ease of use, making it a reliable choice for seniors.

simple to use
The keys are chunky and have a reassuring click, making it much easier for my gran to feel what she’s doing without accidental double taps. The dual display is a handy touch; being able to see who is calling before flipping it open saves a lot of fumbling. having a dedicated cradle means it has a permanent home on the side table, which stops the usual hunt for a misplaced charging cable. The volume is quite loud, bordering on piercing at the highest setting, but it’s helpful for hearing a conversation over the telly. Navigating the menus is straightforward, though i found the software a bit clunky when trying to set up the speed dial—it’s not as intuitive as i hoped. while the battery holds up for several days of standby, the build feels a bit lightweight and plasticky, so i’d be wary of dropping it on a hard kitchen floor. the emergency button on the back is easy to find by touch, but it’s worth testing a few times to make sure it doesn't get triggered by mistake in a pocket. It isn't a piece of high-end tech, but it serves the basic need of staying in touch without the confusion of a touchscreen.

Basic phone, ideal for elderly who aren’t tech savvy.
4.5 stars! I ordered the Artfone C10 for my elderly mother, who needed a new phone. She isn’t great with tech so a more basic phone just for calls and texts without the confusion of a smartphone was more suitable. It’s been a really good fit for her. The buttons are large, well spaced and easy to press, and the screen is clear and simple to read. She found it easy enough to use straight away. The menu system can involve a lot of scrolling and clicking but it’s straightforward enough to use with no unnecessary features getting in the way. Call quality is clear and the speaker is loud enough for her to hear comfortably. Texting is basic but manageable once you’re used to it. The SOS button on the back is a great safety feature and gives extra peace of mind. The torch is handy and works from a simple sliding switch on the side. There are also two quick call buttons “A” and “B” which make her regular calls much simpler. The flip style keeps it compact and the front screen is ideal for checking time or quickly answering/rejecting calls without opening the phone. There is a button to speak the time but this isn’t good, a lot of the numbers just aren’t clear at all. There is also a basic camera which is ok in good lighting. Battery life has been decent, lasting several days between charges. The charging dock is especially helpful as she doesn’t need to plug in small cables, which makes charging much easier. The phone doesn’t make it clear when fully charged but docking overnight always keeps it topped up. The phone feels light, slim, solid enough and easy to handle. Overall, this is an ideal phone for an elderly user who wants something reliable and simple. It’s doing exactly what we hoped and has made staying in touch much easier for her. At £35, it seems to be very good value and my rating is based upon what it is, not how it compares to the best phones out there.
