OMG I Can't believe I haven't reviewed this, I love it so much. But that's good, because now I can attest to its durability too. I've had this for 2 years, replacing one from a different brand that had started chipping at the edges after 6 months. It's gorgeous, I still get so many compliments on it! It has a sort of suede-ish feeling. The color is bright and the print is crisp. The bottom recently broke after I took it on and off a few times, but I think that's my fault, it fits really snugly (no risk of it feeling loose or falling off) so I had to put tome pressure on the corner to take it off. I would highly recommend this.

This case is sturdy and extremely sparkly. I have a Space Gray MacBook Pro, and this case matches my MacBook perfectly. I love how it has the little opening for the Apple, and now I want to find a cute insert that matches the case. It also comes with the bottom piece, and my laptop has been staying cooled down despite long hours spent graphic designs while plugged in.

I bought this case to set apart my work computer from the identical laptops of my co-workers. Some have turned their laptops into messes of stickers, but I didn't like the idea of the stickers curling and getting gummy residue in my backpack, and taking them off would be obnoxious when it's time to me to upgrade. With a case, I can keep my signature look throughout upgrades (as long as they issue me the same model). I got the shiny silver one, and it's even prettier in person! The surface is holographic and shimmers in sunlight. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it! The corners are already a little faded from the friction in my backpack, but for a $20 case, it's holding together really well. The case was easy to apply. I clipped on the bottom and top while the laptop was closed, then opened it to ensure all the tabs were secure. I haven't had any issues with it coming unlatched, even when my nails accidentally catch the case instead of the laptop itself when I'm trying to open it. It's definitely more of a decorative case than a protective one. While I assume the lid of my laptop is protected from scuffs caused by zippers and metal items in my backpack (my previous laptop ended up being stained by the color rubbing off a notebook!), this case would probably not protect it in the event of a drop. Overall I'm really pleased with it!

It's more like a 4.5 rating versus a 4. It's a really nice case for 20 dollars. I am knocking off some points because for the Sea Wave version because it says the apple logo shines through when powered on. It does not. It would have been pretty cool if it did that but it is still a quality case. It's a flat finish which makes it seem even higher quality. It is a little difficult to remove but not too bad. All in all I would recommend this cover. I can't speak to it's durability since I've only had it for a couple days but for 20 bucks it's not going to break the bank for a replacement.

Love my new cover. The colors are true to the original painting and it is beautiful. The cover is sturdy but doesn't add a lot of weight to the computer. It was easy to put on and I like that the bottom has rounded "legs" to make it non-slip.

So beautiful. Ordering a 2nd as back up. Beautifully protects you expensive MacBook. Great feel and look. Snaps on and stays on! I get so many complements on the cover. I travel 4-5 days a week and this baby has held up perfectly for a year. I have shoved this into my bag over and over again with no knicks or damage. No problem taking it off to clean my Mac and easy to install!! The design fits my personality perfectly. I know I will most likly gift the 2nd one, better to be prepared! The case looks great and fits my MacBook Pro well. People comment on the wood grain look all the time. As for durability my rating is 100% about the rubber feet. They fall out all the time. I am constantly putting them back in. They need to be "built-in" much better. I finally lost one in Minnesota, so makes the care wobbly. Also, sure it will scratch surfaces now. It would be helpful if it came with extra feet since they don't stay in well. Or just fix the underlying issue and build the feet into the case or provide better design for them to stay in. They refused to simply send me replacement feet. Sent me a link to order replacement base for $7 then sent wrong one. So probably will stick me with that one or charge me return shipping. Took over month that to get here in first place. Just to be wrong bottom cover. Very upset.

I purchased what I thought was the same case about two years ago. I have the old one next to this new one as I write the review. The new case is much better quality than the previous. This case feels rubberized (the old one was smooth plastic), the color is brighter, the rubber feet on the bottom are larger and a dense black rubber (the older one were thin, stick-on, white circles that actually included replacements, so obviously the manufacturer knew that they would come off almost immediately). The previous case bottom chipped and eventually broke, leaving sharp edges that cut into my wrists. (With this order, I also ordered a Mosiso case for my wife's computer and hers is the same thin plastic, paltry white plastic feet as the older case I am now unhappy with.) I did not know that these cases came in different quality, so if you order a case, I recommend this YMIX case. Make sure that it feels thick, sturdy, and rubberized on top and has the thick black rubber feet on the bottom. I'm leaving a bad review for Mosiso...much cheaper, low quality. Definitely going with YMIX in the future.

Loved that the design was a described. It was a little loser fitting compared to my old one but it still fits great and that doesn't take away from the case.

So cute! Tight fitting and it’s vibrant with a rubber feel! I docked a star because of the ABSOLUTELY offensive odor that came on it! Literally filled my entire house smelling like old lady perfume! To the point I actually had to soak the thing in Lysol to mask the horrendous stench that literally won’t come out!
