Sides/edges curl up badly distorting image
I've had this unit for about a year now so have a long term opinion. It's used as a 100" screen for my projector in a bedroom where we didn't want to hang a TV up. When I first got it, it was awesome. But after a few months both sides started to progressively curl up, this has become worse over time and now it affects the entire screen, causing my projected image to be distorted. Even with the distortion it's still fairly usable, but it's definitely a downgraded viewing experience. Other issues are a very slow and very loud motor, although at this price point I'm not really complaining much. I use it occasionally, maybe 3 or 4 times a week, and with a year's use it still works perfectly (with the caveat of the curling sides). The remote does the job, since it's IR you don't have to aim it to the screen as long as the IR signal can bounce off a wall. Color accuracy is also hit or miss, it doesn't have much reflectivity so you will really need a fairly dark room. It shows my 2000 lumen projector very decently in a dark room, but if I turn on a small, dim lamp it washes out fairly quickly. Overall if it wasn't for the curling I'd be happy with it keeping in mind the price point.

Better than I expected, high quality screen
The YODOLLA 100inch Motorized Projection Screen surprised me. The packaging was done well, and it was delivered with care by an Amazon Prime truck. The delivery individuals handled it with precision, placing it securely under my porch. The screen itself was wrapped nicely and protected, ensuring its condition upon unboxing. Taking it out of the package was a breeze, thanks to the thoughtful packaging design. The installation process was equally straightforward. The only requirement is to take accurate measurements, use some blue painters tape and a pencil to determine the ideal placement for the screen. Once you've figured that out, the rest of the installation becomes a seamless process. It's important to note that the YODOLLA projection screen, while of high-quality, does not include the necessary “swag hooks” for ceiling installation. If you plan to mount it on your ceiling, you'll need to acquire these hooks separately. I've attached two pictures to showcase what the swag hook looks like for your reference. The remote control, a crucial component of any motorized projection screen, arrived with a pre-installed battery, which was a thoughtful touch. The screen functions flawlessly, and I must mention that this is my second purchase in this category. My previous experience with a different brand had me returning the product due to inadequate packaging and deficient operating conditions… however this time around, I'm thoroughly satisfied with the level of care taken to ensure a secure delivery and excellent packaging as well as quality operations. One notable feature of the YODOLLA projection screen is its slow retraction speed. While this may require a bit of patience, it contributes to the overall quality and smoothness of the screen's operation. The YODOLLA 100inch Motorized Projection Screen is a top-tier product that combines impressive packaging, easy installation, and reliable functionality. While the lack of included swag hooks is a minor consideration, the overall performance and quality make it a worthwhile investment. I am thoroughly pleased with this purchase, and I look forward to enjoying its benefits for a long time to come.

Smooth operation and great picture surface
This motorized projector screen works great and gives a clean, professional look to the room. The size is perfect for movies, sports, or presentations, and the screen material provides a clear and bright picture. The retractability is smooth and quiet when raising and lowering the screen, and the easy adjustments make it simple to position exactly where you want it. The screen stays wrinkle free and hangs evenly once extended, which really helps with picture quality. Installation was straightforward, and the wall mount feels secure once installed. It pairs well with a 4K projector and creates a true home theater feel. Overall, this is a reliable motorized screen that looks great and performs consistently.

Great screen for the price
For the price, this screen is a good buy. The quality of the screen is great and the build quality appears to be good too, except for a few strange design choices. For one, the controls built into the power cord are directly in the middle of the cord. Unless you have a power outlet near the top of your screen, you’ll have to mount the control box on a wall, but also slightly off to the side so it won’t interfere with the screen when it lowers. The RF remote is a nice addition if you can find a way to hide or make the wired control box look nice. My only other issue is that the sides of the screen seem to have a slight bend in them when rolled down. It doesn’t really affect the picture quality since it’s the far edges of the screen, but it looks a little less professional that the screen has a bit of a hard U shape. My screen also arrived with a dent in the metal housing, which I could probably bend out if I actually took the time to do it, but that isn’t affecting any functionality of the screen.

Don't blame damage on the unit!
I feel the unit is fine. I think it's a good design. It was about 6 inches longer than my non motirized screen. So I had to drill a new mounting hole. I dislike people who complain about fault or damage to the unit because of uncareful shipping employees. Mine arrived damaged. It has a crease in the casing as I unpacked it from the box. It now also has a new crease in the casing but not because of delivery. It was because of my sloppy installation practices. I'm really surprised it works at all after all this throwing around. But after all that and finishing installation, it actually works perfectly. No scratches on the screen and it goes up and down quietly and smoothly as advertised. I would probably buy another one and hope the delivery would go a little smoother. Mine seems to really be of rugged construction considering. I'll keep it. Update: September 22, I have watched a Star Trek movie in 3D. Worked well for that. It still functions as advertised. The crease about 2 feet in was from shipping. The crease towards the end was from dropping it during instillation. I am so surprised that with all the bashing the unit has taken, it still seems to function as advertised. I don't mind the added dents as long as it continues to function.
