The tests are easy to run once you get the hang of them, and the results are much more detailed than test strips or pool store testing. It's helped me keep my pool crystal clear and avoid buying chemicals I didn't need. If you're serious about maintaining your own pool, this kit is a must-have.
Review: Worth the investment!! - I really wish I’d gotten this sooner! Honestly, it’s a game changer. I tried 4 different well reviewed test strips because the hot tub never seemed to be clear or balanced and the different brands wildly disagreed. A couple of them said I had zero free chlorine and high CC so I kept adding more and more to shock it. I had bought so many products to try and remedy the situation so I didn’t want to spend $150 on the Taylor kit. Plus I’m terrible with math and numbers and thought it would be too difficult and time consuming. I finally decided to use ChatGPT to help balance my tub and it suggested several times that this more complete Taylor test kit would really be a worthwhile investment. I bit the bullet and got it. I used chat to take me step by step (although the instructions do that just fine and are easy…until you get to the calculations;-) I had chat do those and help keep track so I could see my progress. Turns out I had extremely HIGH free chlorine and was way over chlorinating. Now it’s super fast and easy, plus I know EXACTLY where my water stands and what I need to do. I actually use less chemicals than before because I have completely accurate numbers. You invest so much $$ already in a hot tub, IMHO this should be part of that investment.

The tests are easy to run once you get the hang of them, and the results are much more detailed than test strips or pool store testing.
