Was recommended this from a parent support group and it works well. My baby is a little over 6 months old and she uses it well. I do have to hold it up for her to sip, but she still has yet to learn to hold it up and tilt. She does sometimes spit a little out, but it's not as much as when I try an open baby cup with her. I have a feeling she's playing sometimes when she does that. If you're like me and don't know how it works at first, you take a sip from it. You can't just tilt it like a normal cup. You tilt, then sip. I felt a little silly once I realized. It is leak proof. I saw some people complain it didn't look how it was promoted as. I say the top part looks the same, but the bottom part is as if you were to purchase a tyedied shirt, each one is a little different but basically the same. Highly recommend. It's a great introduction of cups to a kiddo without worry about a mess. I also put her iron-rich oatmeal/rice milk in there sometimes and still works great.

I bought this for a 16 month old hoping to teach her to drink from a cup. It took a few minutes of telling and showing her to suck to get liquid. After that she was fine with it. The cup hasn’t leaked and she likes it so that’s a win. I took off a star because it’s not intuitive to a child and I’m not sure if it will actually help her transition to a regular cup.

Absolutely love it. My baby is learning to drink from a sippy cup it’s absolutely amazing for a first time learning baby. Not heavy super simply to wash and use. I bought other colors. Munchkin brand products are amazingly thought out for kids. Definitely recommend it this cup, my baby loves it. The simplicity of it is great for a starter kid. The product is sturdy. My baby has dropped it absolutely no spills or cracks on the cup. My baby has left the cup upside down no spills because it needs pressure to release the fluid. Absolutely love it. Love the size. It holds a good amount of liquid for a kid starting to drink on their own. Even for a toddler it a good size.

It's an okay cup — my baby likes it and takes to it really easily, and he's dropped it a few times and its held up, which is the most important thing. I even tried sipping from it myself and it flows nicely, so I get why he's a fan. Cleaning is pretty straightforward and it goes back together without any hassle. It does fit in a bottle washer, though you'll have to do a little maneuvering to get it in there. The one downside is that it does leak a bit, which is a little frustrating for something marketed as a spill-free cup. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing before you buy. Overall, good starter cup and baby approved — just keep a bib handy.
