These are the only drops my sensitive eyes will tolerate, and I've been through a ton of brands, types and viscosities. Don't know why these ones work for me when many other similar drops failed but they really do soothe dry irritated eyes right away and keep them soothed for a while. Mostly I use them before bed for extra protection to the eye when I sleep since sometimes my eyes open slightly at night. Yea the dropper isn't perfect but it's not the worst thing in the world. Sometimes you get a wonky one that takes more pumps to get started and then a few pumps to get one drop out. So what. More often than not I've gotten normal working droppers that produce one controlled drop per pump. If I get a wonky one it's not the end of the world. I've never gotten a broken one.

Great dispenser. Easy to use and delivers a metered amount. Will buy again.

I began using the Optase Hylo on April 20, 2025 and have used it multiple times a day since. I was suffering from dry eye causing severe itching, watering, and discomfort. On April 10, '25 I had begun taking a daily Blink pill designed to assist one's normal tear production. I don't know which has made the greatest difference but within the last 10 or 12 days my symptoms have abated significantly. I was seeing my ophthalmologist frequestly for months and being given many different drops to try, but nothing helped until this product and the Blink were both being used. Using this innovative bottle was a challenge and I do thinkk the bottle could be improved. The cone shaped cap is so slippery that I had to cut a rubber jar lid remover in half and use it to get a grip on the cap. It needs much more prominent ridges or one or two flat sides. It would also help when holding the bottle in the recommended position if the places where one's fingers must be placed were given more room. Perhaps one side of the upper platform could be wider and/or indented or enlarged by moving the dispenser to one side inside of in the middle. I would also ask Optase to put a window strip down the bottle so one could see how much fluid remains. This way it's guess work as to when to buy another bottle and I don't want to run out or order too far in advance such that an extra bottle surpasses its "use by" date before even being opened. That said, I do strongly recommend it even though its price is high. My symptoms had been driving me crazy, I was almost clawing at them, damaging my skin, and causing inflammation due to the itching, but am so much better I am finally having some peace. To me they are well worth the price, but it's too bad that I, and many others I feel sure, have difficulty aligning the bottle so as to avoid wasting the drops by missing our target.

My 82 yr old father suffers from dry eyes and this product is the ONLY one that brings him relief. And in my humble opinion... That makes it undeniably priceless and #1 in my book!
