What a fun little way to dress up your hair. It deposits little jewels onto your hair with an application that is sort of like a mini glue stick. This is not a typical thing I would usually get for myself, but I wanted to have something fun that is easy to apply and can make my look more fun and festive for different special occasions. I know it's for girls and kids, but I wanted to have this whimsical and cute tool for my inner child :) I love that it's so easy to use, because if it wasn't - I would've never used it. It takes a bit of time to set up the applicator first time, but it was pretty straightforward and it's a one time thing. Next time I can just put in the gems I want to use and it's all set. The only thing I wish is that would be nice if they had gems of different sizes. That could've added more variability, because it's cool to use it for makeup too. The size they have is great for hair application, because it makes them very visible and stand out more. The gems added a nice sparkle to my hair and were especially noticeable outside in natural light. I was worried they would either fall off immediately or get tangled, but neither happened. They stayed in place well and came out easily when I was done. There are also a lot more gems included than I expected, so I won't run out anytime soon. This would be great for kids, but honestly I think adults can have fun with it too. I wish I had a daughter to make some paired looks with it! I already want to use it again for photos, parties and other special events. Really cute little kit overall! Loved it!

LOVE! I got the Hally Hair Gem Pen for some summer fun! The product is easy to use and the gems stay in place. My daughter and I love using all the fun colors to coordinate with our summer outfits. I’m excited to use for holidays as well.

Despite being almost 30, I like to use gems for special occasions, namely going to concerts or festivals, so I got really excited when I saw this one! While I do have a hair gem applicator already, this one seemed like much higher quality with a larger selection of gems, so I had to have it. When it came, I was pleased with the quality as well as the size of the applicator. I liked that it was more of a rectangle than a wheel like my other one is. The gems are also smaller, which I liked, as I like to use them on my face as well. The instructions were simple and the gems were easy to load. They each come in a little canister so that the gems don’t get everywhere, which makes things easier. They also stuck in my hair pretty well despite me moving around a lot. Overall, this has definitely been an upgrade and I am so excited to use them for my next event!

Cute and easy to use—adds fun sparkle to hair within minutes and works well for quick looks or events. However, the gems don’t always stay on long and may fall off during the day, especially with movement. Overall, it’s a fun accessory for short-term styling, not for long wear.
