FREETOO Thumb and Wrist Brace Right Left Hand for Arthritis and Support

This thumb brace provides excellent support while still allowing enough flexibility for everyday activities. The adjustable straps make it easy to get a secure, comfortable fit, and it stays in place without constantly needing to be readjusted. The material is breathable, so it's comfortable to wear for extended periods. Whether for sports, repetitive hand use, or general thumb discomfort, it offers reliable stability without feeling bulky. The overall construction feels durable and well made. Based on the comfort, support, and quality, I'd definitely consider purchasing other orthopedic and support products from this brand in the future.

Great compromise between usability and support for times when De Quervains is in remission. I am required to wear braces even when it is. Good strap placement for putting pressure on the tendons without choking circulation. I would use a total immobilization brace when my DQT isn’t in remission. These aren’t going to be therapeutic for fresh re-injury. But I am happy with this product for regular daily use for prevention and treatment of minor soreness. (For severity reference I’ve already had surgery on my thumb tendons)

Pros: • comfortable • lightweight • good quality • Velcro is decent • does its job Cons • a bit long on thumb I'll try to update after a few weeks or so of usage. Currently needing to wear a brace for my thumb at all times due to bone movement and this causing pain as well as inflammation in tendons. The last brace I had worked well, but didn't last very long as the Velcro started to not stick. I'm hoping this one is better than the last. Though it being long on my thumb does make it a bit difficult when using my mouse, since it has side buttons. Otherwise, it's fairly comfortable and keeps my thumb in place.

So much better than the cumbersome thumb and wrist brace I received from my orthopedics dept. While It has bracing to prevent thumb and wrist motions that irritate my Scapholunate ligament insufficiency and Severe arthritis of the triscaphe joint but because you measure your hand before ordering it fits better and does not rub the skin. The thumb strap design prevents it from being overly long and poking you between the thumb and forefinger. The fabric is soft, lined and edges are covered (no raw edges which prevents chaffing. It is easy to put on and the straps are long enough to allow adjustments yet do not dangle or catch on clothing.

I have connective tissue issues, which means different joints hurt randomly and are prone to injury. One minute, my CMC joint may be agonizing and the next, it’ll be just fine and the other hand’s MCP joint is hurting. I say this to emphasize that most braces don‘t work super well because I need braces that work for either hand for any joint. This brace absolutely fulfills that need. This brace stabilizes pretty well and all those straps work amazingly to perform different duties. I also have sensory issues and struggle with compression around my fingers, so fingerless gloves are generally a no-go for me. This brace allows for a very gentle fit around the thumb, while still maintaining its job holding everything else in place. It worked for either left or right hand. I have multiple cats and a dog. They all have different types of furs that can and will stick to everything, but to my surprise even my cat rubbing up against the Velcro on this brace, it did not get clogged. It didn’t even get more than a few hairs caught, and those that were there were easy to remove. The Velcro isn’t weak, nor is it prohibitively strong. I have worn a variety of braces and gloves and whatnot throughout my life, but I am going to be using this product from now on. Bonus points, I’ve gotten multiple compliments on the pretty pink stripes, LOL.

I’ve used quite a few braces over the years, and one thing I notice right away is whether they feel bulky or get in the way of everyday tasks. This one is much lighter than I expected, which made it easier to wear for longer periods. The fit was good and provided support without feeling overly stiff or restrictive. It helped stabilize my thumb while still allowing enough movement to do normal daily activities. I also liked that it didn’t feel heavy or awkward once on. I’ve worn it regularly, and so far it has held up well with repeated use. The material and closures still seem in good shape, and it hasn’t fallen apart or lost support quickly like some cheaper braces can. This isn’t a miracle fix, but as a lightweight brace for extra thumb support and comfort, I think it does its job well. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that braces can be very personal depending on the amount of support someone needs, and people needing very firm immobilization may want something more rigid. Overall, a comfortable brace that fits well, offers decent support, and has held up better than expected with regular wear.

Fit perfect. comfortable and support the arthitic plam to help in gripping.

I have bone on bone in my thumb and this has helped tremendously with relieving some of the pain until I have my surgery. It's well fitted and comfortable to wear at night while you sleep.
